This situation is one case Where the NATO Duty to Protect doctrine could be of use. Sanctions and pressure on Israel to back off of the West Bank and begin negotiating a two state solution in good faith, is a remotely viable alternative.
The Idea of Zionists giving the Palestinians equal rights in one state is just not going to happen. They have already shown how Supremacist and Primitive their Tribalism is. True democracy with Palestinian citizens having full rights would destroy the Jewish Supremacist nature of Israel forever. They would have to obey rule of law and the idea of equal protection under the law.
They just don't want to do this.
Palestinians serve a useful purpose. The West Bank is a good place to encourage new comers to "settle". This keeps friction between various factions in Israel itself, to a minimum, by reducing open Conflicts between them. It also provides a "scary" common enemy to keep Likud relevant.
Is unfairly Favorable treatment of Israel considered anti-Semitism? Enabling evil and destructive behavior is not doing them any favors. It's setting them up to fail long term, which I believe they will if they don't change course.
Hamas is Reviled but are they really any worse than the Israeli government given the circumstances?
The fact is, Israel is used to getting away with daily and ongoing human rights violations with no consequences. Even Mass Killings by soldiers of civilians is not restrained in any way.
The US veto on the UN security council is mostly why.
The US Uni-Party is Totally Complicit in the Israeli Abuses going back decades.
This makes the Israeli State very confident about Slaughter and Apartheid. They know they won't even have to give up their Ben and Jerry's ice cream no matter WHAT they do,no matter how Horrid.
This is anti-Semitic... friends don't let friends become Monsters and destroy themselves.
