"There's never been any evidence"not a shred"that Donald Trump believes in God, believes in the sanctity of the Old or New Testaments, is a churchgoer, follows the Ten Commandments, or has anything but contempt for religious people...Trump knows (and all who know him know) he's neither moral nor ethical"he's a monster"he cloaks himself in religious virtue to get votes from religious conservatives...I've no idea why Trump got almost a decade into his political career without anyone revealing that he's an atheist, but I'm doing so now as a Trump biographer. There's not a drop of religiosity in Trump"

This is news? He had to tear gas his way into the only church he's ever used for a photo op.

Talibaptists are ok with that.

They see the twice-divorced man (who cannot go a single day without lying, has cheated on his wives repeatedly, runs casinos and profits from gambling, was found by a judge to have sexually assaulted a woman, paid a pornstar to have sex with him, etc.), as the imperfect human vessel of God's Divine will. Plus, I hear he's promised his voters 72 virgins when they enter the kingdom of heaven.

(RNS) The Secular Coalition for America, a nonpartisan organization that advocates for the separation of religion and government, has issued a letter in response to derogatory remarks about atheists made by former President Donald Trump last month at the Faith and Freedom Coalition gala in Washington.

Trump, the keynote speaker of the three-day Road to Majority conference, declared, "Together, we're warriors in a righteous crusade to stop the arsonists, the atheists, globalists and the Marxists," stirring up the estimated crowd of 2,000 conservative evangelical leaders. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence also attended the conference's 14th annual gathering.

"There's never been any evidence -- not a shred -- that Donald Trump believes in God, believes in the sanctity of the Old or New Testaments, is a churchgoer, follows the Ten Commandments, or has anything but contempt for religious people."

I think it's finally starting to become an issue for him and he may lose a tiny number of votes.

But the easiest way to show that none of this really matters to Trump supporters is named BillJohnson.

Trump worships himself.

If Trump worships himself he remains an atheist.

The chreestian right rushed to embrace a person who violates every single of the ten commandments on a daily basis because he hates the same people they hate.

Says all you need to about them.

We all saw Arizona Evangelical Christian Republicans speaking in tongues after banning abortion on TV.

The GOP is a Death Cult.

I'd say he's more of a narcist than an atheist. Trump is god in his head.

And to think there are still people who say trump isn't an atheist because he says he isn't, or because he's not "smart enough", or that his self worship precludes atheism.

Since when do the religious require evidence?

Trying to avoid Trump's being an atheist doesn't make him any less of an atheist.

Trying to say Trump is bad because he is an atheist

is like trying to say a Catholic Priest who molests children is bad because he's a Christian.

Trying to say that Trump isn't an atheist is now officially passe.

What you're doing has always been a cop-out, Tor.

I'm looking for the evidence that Trump isn't an atheist and it all comes down to your believing him.

"I'm looking for the evidence that Trump isn't an atheist"

Why?

At this point, what difference does it make?
