... Hunter Biden's motion to dismiss the charges was denied Friday by US District Judge Maryellen Noreika in Delaware, the latest setback for the president's son as his father campaigns for reelection. The Trump-appointed judge said Hunter Biden did not provide evidence to support his claim that the decision by Special Counsel David Weiss to charge him was influenced by Trump or Republican lawmakers. Members of Congress pressuring Weiss or the US Justice Department is "fundamentally different than actually making charging decisions or influencing them," Noreika said. "Apart from defendant's finger-pointing and speculation, the court has been given no evidence to support a finding that anyone other than a special counsel, as part of the executive branch, is responsible for the decision to indict," Noreika said. The decision is the latest twist in an array of politically charged legal cases taking shape before the November election, when Hunter Biden's father will face off for a second time against Trump. The former president faces his own criminal trial starting Monday in Manhattan, on charges he falsified business records to conceal hush money payments to a porn star before the 2016 election. ...

That looks fair to me. He should have to account for the gun charge, and suffer the same penalty for it as anyone else would.

I think after Dark Brandon wins re-election in November he needs to pardon Hunter. Just to see the MAGA't tiny minds explode.

Me too. In fact, they need to pardon everyone with a gun charge. We shouldn't have gun laws. I never knew we agreed on so much.

Even more fun will be a liberal president setting the pace for forgiving gun violations. Never again will a democrat deserve the right to complain about forgiveness of firearm violations.

Something that would apply to anything beyond a specific individual that gets off whether they are guilty or not, based on the whim of POTUS.

The best way to ensure people like Hunter Biden have easy access to guns is for government to do nothing, and especially not repeal the Second Amendment.

The rich kid of a politician will always have easy access to guns.

That's pretty sad. Even for you.

Are you that stupid? Don't answer that.
I literally got the idea from liberals wanting to pardon democrats of gun violations right here on this thread...
I'm not pissed, I'm actually happy to hear that democrats are ready to put petty gun laws behind us.

"Did you just have to make up an imaginary scenario in your head to be pissed off?" Apparently all someone had to do was MENTION the possibility of pardoning Hunter Biden and his maga head exploded!
Apparently.

No. You took a joke and pretended the scenario was going to happen and got all pissy about it. As per usual.
