We could have a fun parallel argument here. Some people identify as dead inside, so why not make it routine to have our health care systems affirm that identity?

If the fetus is already dead inside, then Republicans should no problem euthanizing the parent. If someone is grieving the loss of a loved one, no one should ever question their choices.

In an ideal world, whole families would have the option to be euthanized together.

Just think of all the possibilities to make a better society. Problem children who refuse to conform and aren't gonna get any better could be separated before they experience or cause too much suffering. Elderly and diseased people could be put out to pasture, to maximize happiness for all. Other people who have behavioral problems but don't respond to corrective therapy can be educated on the optimal solution. No one should ever question their choices nor the professionals who help them realize what they really want.

We can also use this procedure to reduce the number of partisans, since we know partisans are inherently unhappy and depressed whenever the Other Party gets into power. Yay for moderates!

This will make it even easier for them.
