Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

It should also be noted that Hancock also pointed out a simple fact that he and Killer Kyle's other handlers made damn sure never saw the light of day was that just months before the fateful and fatal evening, Rittenhouse had applied for the Marines, but he was too stupid to even pass the aptitude test: The maximum score on the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery - the test to get into the military) is 99. The minimum score to join the Marine Corps is 31. Surprising absolutely no one, kyle rittenhouse scored "far below" the required minimum. Furthermore, not only was Killer Kyle too stupid for the Marines, but he was also too psycho for them as well and was permanently banned after he sent his recruiting officers an unsolicited video of him field stripping an AR-15.

From that X link...

... We invested significant effort to craft the image you witnessed during the trial. We outfitted him in new suits, arranged for his haircut every weekend during the trial, and dedicated over 200 hours to prepare him for direct and cross-examination. We employed the world's leading jury consultant and conducted extensive research through three mock trials to identify the ideal jurors and the most effective approach for his testimony.

Transforming a middle school dropout who was "angry at the world" with a history of violence and an unhealthy obsession with guns and killing into a respectable young man with a desire for higher education and a promising future was no easy feat.

It was a meticulously crafted facade, which we sincerely hoped he would grow into.

Instead, he squandered a full scholarship to study any subject at any university in the country to become a divisive douchebag and antagonize black Americans on college campuses.

Kyle failed to learn a single thing. He remains the same uneducated, arrogant, and antagonistic individual, incapable of telling the truth. ...

No wonder the mouth-breather incels on this site worship Killer Kyle.

Admittedly I don't know all the details of this sorry sack of $#!t's story. Was he on any federal list beforehand as a person who had invited some surveillance?

"Too stupid for the Marines."

Heckuva an epitaph.

They hope someday with a lot of hard work to get to 31.

Okay, you changed my mind. If Kyle actually was this mentally incompetent, then he should be on death row right now.

Looks like the grooming worked.

It doesn't change any of the facts in the case.

Lots of facts were left out of the case.

That also won't ever change.

@#9 ... It doesn't change any of the facts in the case. ...

But, if the grooming didn't have an effect upon the outcome of the case, why was so much effort put into the grooming?

#11 | Posted by LampLighter at 2024-04-03 04:23 PM | Reply

Grooming is just another way of filtering out peripheral facts that aren't relevant to the case but could prejudice a jury against a defendant.

Peripheral facts, or facts that may be detrimental?

Regardless, so the grooming could change the outcome of the case. Glad you agree.

It may not change the facts of the case, but it might change how a jury views those facts. As I noted, that's likely why the grooming was done.

Which then leads to another question... which facts were so bad that grooming was apparently necessary in order to change how those facts were viewed by the jury?

For example, if the defendant had shown up to court in sweatpants and a hoodie, speaking slang or acting arrogant, it could prejudice some of the jury against him even before they hear the facts of the case. That's not the way it should work, but in reality it does happen.

Then the jury would know who he actually is and is capable of and not be influenced by a well crafted lie?
It doesn't change the facts of the case, but it shows not all facts were presented.

Couldn't pass Marine ASVAB?!? Why bother with death row? He's already brain dead, somebody is bound to step on his cord and pull the plug eventually.

#18- but he won't suffer that way. Isn't that the whole point, so we can cheer when someone dies twisted, bitter and impoverished of spirit?
