... Why it matters: It reflects a growing feeling among GOP lawmakers that the probe has failed to uncover evidence linking the president to his family members' business dealings.

What he's saying: Bacon said on NBC's "Meet the Press" that lawyers he's spoken to from the committees investigating Biden "say, at this point, there's not a specific crime that has been committed." ...

@#1 ... a growing feeling among GOP lawmakers that the probe has failed to uncover evidence ...

Gee, who would have ever thought that a House GOP "investigation" might end due to a lack of evidence?

In my view, the House GOP is starting to talk about ending the investigation because it has become an embarrassment for them that they produces no evidence to substantiate their allegations, not just an embarrassment, but a drag on their support.

Add IVF, abortion, and Trump and they're screwed.

I mean, a Dem just won a reliably GOP district IN ALABAMA by a landslide!

Added to that, Republicans have absolutely NOTHING to run on. They haven't done squat but squeak and squawk.

So add the impeachment inquiry to the string of House GOP (I'll be kind) missteps.

Could it be that the House GOP (Rep Comer and Rep Jordan) have been listening to fmr Pres Trump's marching orders, instead of abiding by their oath to the Constitution?

Evidence? Ppphhhttt! It FEELS like he is guilty. I mean, The Laptop! Twitter Files! The Dossier!

What more do they need?

The Biden impeachment is just a scam to sell Comer's book.

Well what an inconvenience. Is that why they lost five dozen court cases?

More from the link...

... A publisher's slip-up revealed that House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) is hawking a book about his effort to impeach President Joe Biden, according to a new report.

Axios first reported publisher Harper Collins posted a link advertising a possible tell-all that Comer is pitching.

The Kentucky Republican ordered the link be removed immediately, his office told the news outlet.

"The link was put up in error by Harper Collins," the congressman's spokesman said. "It was not authorized by Congressman Comer and he immediately requested it be taken down."

The accidental post on Harper Collins' website showed a placeholder cover for the book with the title "All the President's Money," wrote Axios.

The page was still up on the publisher's website as of Saturday, despite Comer's request that it be removed. The notice says the book is scheduled to be released in September this year and will come with a $29.99 price tag. ...

?? You paying attention?

Just curious what's you opinion on the $40,000 loan repayment?

You know the one the account had no knowledge of?

Is there any agreement? What was the interest rate? You know that made it come out to exactly 40,000?

There is plenty of evidence, from bank records to Whatsapp messages.

You just care to ignore them.

You can't be a software or engineering manager and ignore things. This is why I don't believe you even had a career in tech.

My opinion is this...

Got a link for that evidence?

If so, maybe your current alias should forward it to Rep Comer.

"I think it was important for the American people to see that, yes, there was $24 million in foreign money that the family raised and all the hidden LLCs that the money was moved around in," Bacon said.

If they (the LLCs) were hidden, how did the committee "find" them?
I mean really, the idiocy of the GOP in Congress and their voters speaks volumes.

You got that right! There's overwhelming evidence, more than enough evidence, direct evidence, a mountain of evidence, concrete evidence, clear evidence... and even "circumstantial evidence is still evidence" evidence.
