Ronna's every bit as much an insurrectionist twunt as Ginni Thomas.

There are reports that MSNBC is having second thoughts and this is NOT going to happen.

"Former RNC chair McDaniel calls January 6 Capitol attack unacceptable' after years of deflection

Former Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel on Sunday called the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol "unacceptable" after years of deflecting on the issue.

McDaniel, who is joining NBC News as a political analyst after exiting the RNC earlier this month, told the outlet that the Capitol riot "doesn't represent our country. It certainly does not represent my party."

"We should not be attacking the Capitol; we should not be having violence," she added. Asked why she didn't offer such condemnation as RNC chairwoman, McDaniel responded,

"When you're the RNC chair, you kind of take one for the whole team. Right now, I get to be a little bit more myself."

Well, well. That didn't take long.

Wonder how many other Republicans are lying, er, I mean, taking one for the team?

If Ronna McDaniel is a witness for either side of Jack Smith's Jan 6 prosecution, I seriously doubt her attorneys will want her doing any talking, on or off air, to anybody.

I seem to recall that she already admitted she talked to Trump on the phone every day during his attempt to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power.

Fox News is now spelled NBC!

Just the ol' librul media being extra librul, I suppose.

Even Chuck "both sides, but really *anything* bad I can say about Democrats is what I'll say" Todd thinks this is a bad idea.

This whole Ronna McDaniel NBC/MSNBC thing is strange. You hear comments that she's been hired, then there's rumors that NBC has rescinded their offer and then you have other NBC/MSNBC personnel acting like it's a done deal and they're very upset about it. And now we have reports that McDaniel has come out making comments about what happened on January 6th which are 180 from any of her previous statements. It's been further reported that she said that while she was head of the RNC, she had no choice but to follow the 'company line', however, she's now no longer bound by that situation. And one other thing, it's been reported that since she has already admitted to having spoken with Trump several times leading up to January 6ht, that she could be a potential witness, for one side or the other, if Trump's insurrection trial ever gets scheduled. If this is true, I can't see how NBC, or any media organization for that matter, would even want to hire her as she's potentially 'radioactive'.

"It's been further reported that she said that while she was head of the RNC, she had no choice but to follow the 'company line'."

That was, all by itself, a choice. Was she also forced to accept a pay check from the RNC?

NBC is good at this.

They hire some -------- like Michael Steele, and then said -------- goes on to toe the line on every republican policy that's put forth, they just say the occasional negative thing about Donald Trump or whichever maniac is in charge of the GOP.

Liz Cheney style.

Vote for every idiotic idea he spits out, help him stack the supreme court, just say the occasional bad thing about him.

Tell me you've never actually seen Michael Steele speak, without using those specific words.

The guy toes the line on every Republican policy? In what bizzarro world?

Here, I'll let him explain how he supports every republican party policy himself:

youtu.be

Loves every one of the -------- policies, still talks to Mitch McConnell, doesn't like Kari Lake and Viktor Orban.

She dropped the Romney part of her name to appease MAGA, LOL.

She was on the phone call with Michigan electors, telling them that the PO1135809 team would pay for his lawyers if he would just reverse his 2020 certification of Biden as victor.

She actively participated in the coup attempt.

She made her bed. She knew what she was doing.

I don't think she'll last long. Commentators get paid per appearance. Few hosts want her on their shows.

Actually, I heard today from a source in the know that "contributors" get a salary, and hers will be more than $300K. None of the MSNBC hosts will have her, but she will show up on NBC, CNBC, and Peacock programs. We are seeing NBC/MSNBC shifting rightward. They fire leftwing hosts like Cross an Hassan and hire Steele and Romney, giving Steele, a horrible host who can't even read a teleprompter and can't conduct a decent interview his own weekend show.

I read the opposite the other day that listed the fee range per appearance for a variety of contributors.

Anyway, several MSNBC hosts aren't amenable to her appearing on their shows.

GUNSLINGER

So, it appears NBC (as a large network) may have put her on salary but MSNBC pays commentators by the appearance.

Also just read the bosses at MSNBC agreed with their hosts that she won't be appearing there on any of their shows.

#17 Don't bet on it, they will get her on when the regular hosts are gone and a guest host is filling in, so for Lawrence's show, she'll appear when he's not there on Fridays.

Apples and horse apples comparison. Both were RNC chair. But only one supported a coup attempt fueled by lies about the election, which she embraced and spread with conspicuous enthusiasm. enthusiasm. See the difference? Yes? Good. No? Get serious.
