"Last week, a policymaking body within the judiciary announced new steps to combat "judge shopping," a practice that has allowed Republican litigants to choose to have their cases heard by partisan judges who are well to the right of even the median Trump appointee.

The Supreme Court has also heard several cases in its current term where it appears likely to reverse rulings made by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, a MAGA stronghold that frequently hands down decisions that appear designed to sabotage the Biden administration."

Christine Blasey Ford was on NPR today discussing her book, a memoir of her experience testifying in front of congress. While there's little doubt that he was an entitled sexual predator at the age of 17.. and likely through his college years. I go back and forth on whether he's fully embraced the dark side.

Interesting.

"The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Reorganization Act divided the Fifth Circuit into two circuits, reorganizing the judicial districts of Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and the Canal Zone as a new Fifth Circuit and Alabama, Georgia, and Florida as the Eleventh Circuit."

Trump is still safe in Judge Cannon's 11th District.

"Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power."

There are only 3 "center-right" Justices on the SCOTUS. The rest are even further to the right.

I went to college with rich kids like Kavanaugh from No Virginia, same time frame, was in a fraternity.. went to beach houses on the coast of Maryland and Delaware. The sexual predation was rampant! he fits the mold, there's little doubt in my mind. he probably honestly does not remember, for her it was a bit more of a memorable encounter..

Let's see, in what voting districts are Trump's cases in now. And how about the largest financially?
