"it has driven a deep rift within the community"

That's a feature, not a bug.

That fits...

Yep.
Here in Okiehomie, where voters can still vote 'straight party ballot', all manner of creeps, crooks handsy uncles and grifters can and do get elected. Once in office, the bad actors raise their heads, and voters act surprised that such losers have found public office. Meanwhile, efforts to extract these creeps from their elected offices almost always go nowhere. That's some job security in the Sooner or Later State...

I work with an insurance company based in Enid. I had some fun with the underwriter on the phone yesterday.

They are embarrassed as hell.........

Two things: First, Enid, OK is the town Footloose is based on. They literally had a city ordinance against dancing. That's the type of people you're dealing with.

Second, the capital of Oklahoma is Oklahoma City. So the phrase "Oklahoma City Council" sounds like he was elected to the city council of a city larger than Portland, OR rather than a small town.

Nazis elect Nazis is not news.

We'll find out just how embarrassed the town of Enid is on April 4. Something tells me he will remain on the council.

Embarrassed that he was elected, or embarrassed that the world knows they elected him?

If it was printed on the front page of the paper prior to the election, they certainly had sufficient warning.

My question is:

What were the people from Oklahoma doing marching and protesting in Virginia?

So does that mean if I don't like what's going on in North Carolina I can come from California to March and Protest and harass them about what the people in North Carolina are doing?

Boazo are you hearing this?

Oklahoma now has the troll from libs of Twitter and a random Nazi from Charlottesville in their government.

Great things are coming for the state of Oklahoma!

You'll see!

both, of course.

The person I spoke with personally knows him and his family.

She knew he was a total -------.

I've been harassed by pigs more in Oklahoma City than anywhere else.

And I've only ever driven through there. I don't live anywhere near OKC, I live over a thousand miles away and always have.

It doesn't surprise me at all that they'd elect a neo-Nazi to the city council.

This happened at a city in Oklahoma.

Not Oklahoma City.

Wait.
Oklahoma has more than one city??

The Charlottesville rally was about American citizens who righteously opposed radical racist leftists who wanted to undo our national history, just as other radical groups have a history of doing in other counties. For example Afghanistan where Taliban destroyed historical antiquities that they decided to keep from the citizenry.

The basic threat to freedom and democracy comes mostly from the radical left as always

The radical left- everyone should have healthcare.

The radical right- jews will not replace us.

youre a moron, robson.

"...undo history" by not honoring losers and traitors? Tell me more.

Not to mention that most of those "historical" statues were erected well after the war, as a response to black civil rights gains.
