It's absolutely biased against conservatives.

By design.

You're not a ------- dunce because a liberal graded your chemistry paper.

Now they want an A+ for saying the earth is 6,000 years old, dinosaurs aren't real, Jesus was an American with an AR-15, and Slavery was just awesome for the slaves.

Well said Sycho. Sounds like they need a participation trophy for the anti-Science students and anti-History classes.

Aww, poor widdle white bread students can't stand to get C's in
class.

Poor widdle racist white bread parents say 'this will not stand!'

How about paying attention in class, little Huey, instead of flirting
with Sally Shortskirts in the back of the class? What? Too much to
ask? Your dad owns a gas station?! Wow! That makes you a somebody!

Get prepared to work there the rest of your life!

Dumb. Reminds me of the people who said that standardized testing was racist.

A long time ago, in the late Nineteen-Sixties, my wife taught Spanish in a parochial high school. Once, she gave an earned "F" to one of her miscreant charges, and since his parents had just donated new carpets for the church, she was strongly encouraged to give the little creep a "C." Her contract was not renewed.

It shouldn't unless you're a moron.

"It shouldn't unless you're a moron."

Why?

Because standardized testing is racist?

"Because standardized testing is racist?"

The test reflects the standards.
So, what are the standards?

Because standardized testing is racist?

If you're actually curious about that, here is a lengthy article discussing various views on the topic. I would encourage you not to leap and criticize the first sentence you disagree with, as the article goes far beyond its introductory material.

As my son, back in the late s, early 2000s went to college at University of Colorado, for his Bachelors and Masters' degrees. He informed he me that there were certain professors to whom he had to give answer that they wanted or would get lessor scores, as the student passed around as to who to be careful of. Did well and earned both those degrees with honors, as with his law degree at Rutgers' Law school [and even at Rutgers he was warned of which professors required the answer they wanted rather than what was right/truth]

Moral of story is, with liberal professors, give them what they want to hear if you want good grades, as liberal profs like liberal politicians are obviously not on the up-and-up.

My Physics prof's textbook was required for the course even though it was never referenced. He just authored it.

-University of Colorado, for his Bachelors and Masters' degrees.

Referred to by many as the Peoples Republic of Boulder

This is an overreaction by this legislator

--------. Your son was explaining away his report card grades to you, lol. I went to UC Santa Cruz(class of 2001). The provost of college told our parents he was going to turn us in to communists, lol. I took a conservative position in a first year political class for fun and did just fine in that class. Real Liberals are AOK with dialogue and critique.

I've always believed that 2+2 doesn't have to equal 4.

The correct answer should really depend on what someone thinks 2+2 should add up to.

"Aww, poor widdle white bread students can't stand to get C's in

I once took a government class and got a C. And did not like Cs because I knew I always did A or at worst B level work. I am always in the top 10% of any class I take.

So I was not happy with that class and I thought the teacher was biased against me so I just took another government class with a different teacher and got an A. And I used that A instead of the C.

No appeal necessary.

#26 | Posted by donnerboy at 2024-03-16 07:18 PM | Reply

When I went to school, you were only allowed to repeat and replace the grade for a class if you got lower than a C. Either way, you had to pay to do that.
