Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, March 06, 2024

Nikki Haley announced she is dropping her bid to become the Republican's presidential candidate on the November 2024 ticket. Now the only lingering question is: Will she bend the knee to Trump or continue to talk about the threat he poses to America?

At least according to fixed news. But they lie. But apparently you live for fixed news lies. Just don't come here expecting us to believe them too.

Biden's economy had kicked the snot out Trumpy's economy even with or merely in spite of Trumpy's massive tax cut for the wealthy and the pandemic he left us with.

Trumpy had infrastructure week for months and failed to got a bill passed.

Biden passed it in his first year.

Trumpy tried to destroy Obamacare with having anything to replace it with. And failed miserably (thank you John McCain!)

Trumpy left office in disgrace and left the country with a pandemic raging out of control and which he was criminally negligent and could not competently respond to.

And now he has 91 criminal charges lodged against him in the courts ( not to mention his civil trials for fraud and defamation) for his actions while in office and after.

And you want to give him another chance?

There is something seriously wrong with Deplorables.

Second, I think you're wrong - that will be the icing on the cake. The proverbial empty net goal that clinches the game to go ice hockey on you. Meaning the guilty verdicts in addition to losing the WH.

And I can say that because that's actually how I feel. I want justice. The GOP had their chance on J6 and blew justice that day.

Short of a serious breakdown in his health, I can't see any reasonably possible result to the Election this November other than the re-election of Joe Biden. America has been given the choice of two candidates it is does not want. One is at best, a "good" President (- nothing great or historically special), and the other one is an out of control criminal mafioso replete with 93 felony indictments pending jury trials. We now have an answer to part of the question I asked back in January:

I wish we could do polls on this site. I wanted to do one on: When Will Haley Drop Out of the Race and Kiss Trump's Ring?

Answers:

This weekend.
Before the SC primary.
When he attacks her husband.
After the SC primary.
When he promises her the VP slot.
Before Super Tuesday.
After Super Tuesday.
When he promises her the Secretary of State position.
Never, she is waiting for a Black Swan event.

I believe the Supreme Court's decision also influenced her decision.

I believe she was holding on to hope that Trump would eventually be forced to drop out either due to being removed from enough state ballots to make him ineligible or due to being put in prison for the charges against him.

Which would automatically secure her the nomination.

What she didn't count on was the Supreme Court ruling in his favor and his lawyers successfully delaying trials until after the election.

Not to mention the undying loyalty Republicans have for Trump.

I wonder why ole Joe Brandon adopted his border policy.

I wonder why ole Joe Brandon allowed himself to be recorded saying that he was personally too weak to implement Trunk's border policy and that only Trunk himself was strong enough to do it.

"Short of a serious breakdown in his health, I can't see any reasonably possible result to the Election this November other than the re-election of Joe Biden."

This election will come down to turnout. There is a swath of voters who refuse to vote for either Trump or Biden. Some will stay home, and others will vote for a third party candidate. It is reasonably possible that Kennedy will siphon enough voters from Biden to throw the election to Trump. At least the DNC seems to think so.

Seems far more likely to siphon from Trump to me. No great political analysis behind that, just might appeal more to the conspiracy minded that are also a little over Trump.

Not like one can rely on polls to figure out much these days :/

She is too stupid to come up with a racketeering charge on her own.

DOES WILLIS HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH RICO CASES?

Yes. When she was an assistant district attorney in the Fulton County district attorney's office, Willis was a lead prosecutor in a RICO case against a group of Atlanta public school educators in a cheating scandal. After a monthslong trial, a jury in April 2015 convicted 11 former educators of racketeering for their roles in a scheme to inflate students' scores on standardized exams.

Since becoming district attorney in January 2021, she has brought several RICO indictments against alleged gang members, including several high-profile rap artists.

Lawyer John Floyd, a nationally known RICO expert in Atlanta, helped Willis with the school cheating case. Soon after opening the investigation into potential illegal meddling in the 2020 election in Georgia, she engaged him to serve as a special assistant district attorney to help with any racketeering cases her office might pursue.

#74 I'm no expert either.. My kids and their friends (20's 30's) are all Liberals but really dislike Biden,. Up until a couple months ago they were willing to vote for him to save us from Trump. His support for Israel changed that. They absolutely will not cast a ballot for him because of the Palestinian children I don't think they will vote for Trump either. That age group is a very large voting block.

#76 - apparently that group you are portraying exists isn't a mature or wise group, either.

Really, Trump not gonna support Israel as much?

Trump moved our embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem -- just to curry favor with the Zionists and cheese off the Muslims.

Ask these kids if they know that.

Please, ask these kids what they think Trump will do better when it comes to Israel.

#78 - exactly, because, like it or not, not voting for Biden is voting for Trump
