This will do wonders for this red state cesspool's already pathetic life expectancy stats.

"Alabama is one of 10 states that has yet to expand Medicaid,"

And therein lies their problem.

And they just cannot stop voting idiots in state and federal offices. Maybe a HS senior civics class as a requirement to graduate?

This is what Alabama voted for.

No hospitals no abortions!

Win-win!

"Nearly 300,000 low-income Alabamians fall into this coverage gap because they make too much to qualify for Medicaid, but too little to afford private health insurance. Alabama is one of 10 states that has yet to expand Medicaid, whereas 41 other states, including D.C. have adopted Medicaid expansion."

It costs money to help the poor. That money does things like keep the hospitals open.

I'm not saying it's great that there are so many poor people that treating them is how hospitals keep the lights on. But it is great that there are hospitals.

The failure of Republican policies is playing out in real time around us. Republicans are kicking over the sand castle someone else built on the beach just because they can.

Meanwhile, Republicans will convince Alabama folks that they're all dying before retirement age because of the evil progressives from California.

The only thing Biden open border policies have done is impoverish every American with pressure to lower wages, and 3rd world invaders that need subsidized and free everything, while destroying those declining insitutions that once were there to serve citizens. The only thing Biden cares about is finding foreign nationals that he can claim are citizens and need taxpayer subsidized for everything.

America is not our country anymore thanks to Biden open borders

Be mindful when casting a wide net.

Many of these hospitals serve Black patients.

I'm going to guess they didn't "vote for this."

"If people think their hospital is on the verge of closing its doors, staffers will look for other jobs."

How nice, they're going to keep people working right up until their badges have been deactivated and they can't enter the hospital.

#12 JPW You should direct your venom and vindictiveness of all Americans to Biden (or Bill Clinton). I would if I lost a child or a local hospital to the policies of a a President that puts unknown foreigners ahead of Americans. You bring in millions of unknowns but for sure un-vetted non Americans to become uninvited neighbors and this is what happens.

Trump should use this Bill Clinton 1995 immigration clip as a national campaign ad. Democrats will lose their minds. I'm Donald Trump and I approve this video. t.co" / X (twitter.com)

@#9 ... The only thing Biden open border policies have done is impoverish every American with pressure to lower wages, ...

Pres Biden's "open border" policies? He is following the law.
An excerpt from the Border Patrol Union webpage that was deleted during fmr Pres Trump's term:
web.archive.org

  • Walls and fences are temporary solutions that focus on the symptom (illegal immigration) rather than the problem (employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens).

  • Walls and fences are only a speed bump. People who want to come to the United States to obtain employment will continue to go over, under, and around the walls and fences that are constructed.

  • Walls and fences will undoubtedly result in an increase in fraudulent documents and smuggling through the Ports of Entry.

  • Walls and fences do not solve the issue of people entering the country legally and staying beyond the date they are required to leave the country, a problem which will undoubtedly increase as more walls and fences are constructed.
  • [emphasis mine]

Once again, your current alias is going back to a time that is different that what is occurring now.

Effectively admitting your current alias has nothing to gainsay regarding Pres Biden's handling of the border.

Classic red state, killing off their rural citizens, some of the most loyal of Dotard's voters. It's not like he didn't do a fantastic job of murdering hundreds of thousands of his voters with his gross incompetence with Covifld.

Reread #12 as many times as it takes to sink in to you empty head. Better yet, have an adult explain it to you.

You're an idiot. Stop talking. Stop trying to "think." And for the love of God, stop voting.

"Today health care is navigating a financial storm unlike anything it has ever seen. More than half of California's hospitals ended 2022 with a financial loss and 1 in 5 is at risk of closing. We all rely on hospitals and health systems to help others, but now they're the ones that need some help."Aug 22, 2023

    Derpa Derpa Derrrrr!!"

what a broken record you all are...

more like, because of mostly failed and skewed
GOP policies and funding restrictions caused
    most of this.
