DeSantis blamed teachers, school officials, "random people," community members, "bad actors," and the media.

Of course he isn't to blame for what he did.

--- him.

Don't you just know that when Ron goes home at night he beats his wife and kids?

county librarians were told that "[b]ooks with LGBTQ+ characters are not to be included in classroom libraries or school library media centers."

So, no books allowed about "High Heels" DeSantis?

He always blames everyone else.
Just like he did with the permission slip nonsense.
His butterboy Diaz even retorted with "HOAX" when addressing the utter chaos DeSantis and Diaz, along with the (intentionally) terribly written laws, created.
What a pathetic loser.

His "culture war" garbage needs to die.

He's a loser. Go away, loser.

She probably berates him and the kids tell him to F off. It's why he's such a miserable impotent d-bag taking things out on others in vulnerable positions.

They may have been trying to ban his book, "How to Torture Prisoners in GITMO for Fun and Profit!".

From the sub-summary...
... In an extraordinary press conference last week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) acknowledged that challenges to books in the state's school libraries are out of control. ...

My current opinion on his change of views...

He proffered those views and those laws when he was trying to gain attention nationally as an alternative to fmr Pres Trump. So, he felt he had to do even more stupid stuff to get the attention of MAGA.

What he didn't know at the time was that the MAGA cult was not concerned about issues, the MAGA cult was only concerned about unfettered adulation of their cult leader, fmr Pres Trump.

Now, Gov DeSantis is realizing he will have to face Florida voters. And he seems to be getting pushback from those voters because of the crazy-stupid stuff he did while he was running for President.

@#9 ... Is Doctor Seuss ok? ...

Why wouldn't that author be OK?

Bootsys monster is off its leash. The inmates are now running the asylum and Bootsy is responsible. In his day, Malcolm X would have stated that the chickens have come home to roost. I'll wager DeSantis and his wife like the trappings of office and Florida voters may never put him there again ...

Ron who?

DeSantis claimed that he only "empowered parents to object to obscene material in the classroom." Now, he is complaining that "members of the community ... just show up and object to every single book under the sun."

You're telling me a guy who went to Harvard Law, a former Congressman and current Governor couldn't foresee the consequences of legislation he signed? He's either an unqualified moron or a liar.

Hahaha! Escambia County banned 3 of Ripley's Believe it or Not books, so if you're a resident of Florida you can get the latest book free. I've sent in my request - free delivery, too!

"Recently, officials in Florida's Escambia County Public Schools district have plunged into a literary adventure of their own: removing and flagging over 1,600 books for review and potential banning. In a weird plot twist, this includes eight encyclopedias, five dictionaries, and hundreds of reference books " including three of our very own Ripley's Believe It or Not! titles."

"However, the pen is mightier than the sword! Ripley's will be offering a complimentary book to all Florida residents now through May 15, 2024."

OK, so it's just a "complimentary" book - so who knows what I'm going to receive, but I had to do it! HA! Well done, Ripleys's!
