I thought I read that TX and FL lead the nation.

I know FL leads the nation on leprosy.

Thanks to gay dudes, illegals, and downlow homosexuals - syphilis is spreading like wildfire.

Untreated syphilis does explain the West Coast voting patterns though - liberalism truly is a mental disorder (aided by untreated syphilis).

They put a map up and Claudio is too dumb to even understand that.

I'm not even sure crayons would work on him.

How is Claudio's comment any worse than 8:15PM?

The demographics are pretty clear as to who is getting syphilis.

Now, you can admit the truth.......you don't care who gets syphilis.

Gay dudes - 4% of the population and 33% of syphilis.

The demographics? Claudio mentioned the Geographics.

I thought you were better than defending Claudio. I was wrong.

As for caring, I'm not the one voting for a party that stands against vaccines, medical research, and providing care to people who need it.

Fun fact: syphilis originated in the Americas. It didn't exist in Europe until after it was brought back by Colombus' crew and those who came after them.

If you say so.

But what are you trying to accuse me of?

"I'm not the one who....." WTF does that mean?

If you know who I voted for then just say so, little fella.

Tell me who I voted for. Try to blame me for what the GOP does by attaching me to it.

Be a ------ man for once and just say it.

You are the one who attached yourself to Republican Party. Give yourself some credit.

Sicko, to be specific, I voted against trump in the 2016 primary.

And he didn't win the primary in Kansas. Ted Cruz did. I voted for John Kaisich.

Then I voted for Hillary in the general.

You see? I voted against Trump twice.

Then voted against him in 2020. Only once because Kansas cancelled the primary. I think a lot of states did.

So I've voted against Trump more than maybe everybody here.

I didn't say you voted for Trump. I never ONCE have EVER thought of you as a Trump supporter. I do believe you have supported Republicans however. And they vote against these issues.

I have always thought of you as a more moderate and a more well reasoned poster...which is why I generally respect you and read your opinions seriously unlike some posters. After all, I actually liked Kasich as well and have said on this site I would have preferred him to Hillary Clinton.

AND its why I was surprised you defended Claudio, who tried to pretend this is a West Coast problem. YOU chose to defend Claudio on that one. Do you REALLY believe this is a West Cost problem? Because if not, maybe you should step back, look at what he posted and my response.

And you accused me of not caring about the LGBTQ community. Who doesn't know who? I worked on the campaigns to legalize gay marriage. I worked with advocacy groups for STD prevention and testing in the LGBTQ community (a very long topic if you want to get into it). I wrote the phone scripts for several charities raising money for these causes (most have horrible phone scripts). I've done pro bono legal work for some of these groups. I even worked petition drives for some of these causes.

I didn't see stats by state..so no...I don't think it's a west coast problem.

And let's say it is a West coast problem....that doesn't equate to a "blue" or "liberal" problem.

It's a syphilis problem.

It's a problem with ignorance and stupidity.

No coincidence that things caused by ignorance and stupidity are on the rise - syphilis, measles, polio, trump's presidency - all are the result of the USA becoming more stupid as time goes on.

The map only displays increases. Not overall numbers, which is why American Indians have such a high rate, but lower numbers..

yet you attacked me for calling about Claudio for saying it's a West Coast problem.

Him claiming it was a WestCoast problem is another way of saying its a MSM problem. Being literal in this case is being obtuse, and caring more about Claudio than as Eberly states the actual problem.

Is he wrong?

JAMA mentions this stat.

In 2019, 83% of PS syphilis cases occurred in men, and men who have sex with men (MSM) were disproportionally affected, as 57% of reported PS cases occurred in MSM.1 Transgender women likely experience syphilis infection at similar rates to MSM,4 though surveillance data are limited among this group. The rate of syphilis in MSM has rapidly increased.
