Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, April 23, 2024

In late November 2021, one of Mr. Trump's associates advised him in the sharpest terms possible to return a trove of records he had taken from the White House when he left office, newly unsealed documents show. "Whatever you have, give everything back - let them come here and get everything," the unnamed associate told Mr. Trump, according to an interview the person gave the F.B.I. "Don't give them a noble reason to indict you, because they will."

Warning Trump about something often seems to make him do it more. Almost as if he is a sociopath.

A summary of the associate's interview with federal agents was among nearly 400 pages of investigative records that were unsealed on Monday by the judge overseeing Mr. Trump's classified documents case. The associate's identity - in the unsealed records labeled as Person 16 - was redacted from the summary.

Person 16 also suggested that some of Mr. Trump's children had been enlisted in the task of persuading him to return the presidential records to the archives. The person recounted to the F.B.I. that one of the children was told: "There are issues with the boxes. They belong to the government. Talk to your dad about giving them back. It's not worth the aggravation."

Some of the missing records were things like the NOAA hurricane tracking map that Trump edited with his sharpie, along with letters written to him from President Obama and Kim Jong Un. Donald simply thinks that if it's given to him then it belongs to him. However, the Presidential Records Act is perfectly clear - these things belong to the American people, not the person elected to the presidency.

This is the case that unmistakably shows Trumps disdain for the law and his lifelong propensity of ignoring laws, rules and regulations which keep him from doing what he wants.

"Don't give them a noble reason to indict you, because they will."

Well we all know that the nodfather is soo much smarter than everyone else.

This is the case that unmistakably shows Trumps disdain for the law and his lifelong propensity of ignoring laws, rules and regulations which keep him from doing what he wants.

He has the temperment of a toddler from a lifetime of never being told "no" or being held accountable for his actions. That is not the mindset of someone that should be allowed access to the nuclear codes.

Biden colluded with the National Archives and the FBI to concoct a case against the former president.

To be clear this is what Special Counsel Jack Smith sought to conceal, when he told the Judge that the court should toss requests for evidence of the alleged coordination.

You're a liar. Biden has had no direct or indirect contact with the DOJ about any of the cases involving Trump. He's never made a single comment regarding Trump cases other than to say everything being done is being done by the DOJ in the pursuit of following the law.

How can any sentient person get on this blog and argue that Donald Trump deserves the benefit of any doubt as he did direct his Attorney General to stop the SDNY's investigation of the hush money matter as told by its Trump-picked USA who was fired by Barr for refusing to drop said case altogether? Not to mention his incessant threats of having "his DOJ" prosecute and jail his political opponents or fact witnesses against him in his myriad criminal indictments, publicly smearing court personnel whom evidently can't have their own private lives (nor can their families) if they've ever criticized Trump over anything?

88 federal indictments cannot be explained away as frivolous or political. Trump is a career criminal whose past is finally catching up to him in his present and it scares him to death because he no longer lords over the federal justice system nor the non-right wing media like he did while President.

" Biden colluded with the National Archives and the FBI to concoct a case against the former president."

Wow.

How did they make Trump force his lawyers to lie on written answers? How did they make Trump conspire to hide documents? And how did they make him share secret documents with folks who had no clearance?

The NY "Hush money" case is supposedly the weakest of the 4 criminal cases The Godfarter, Don Snoreleone, is facing, and from the looks of it, dude's going to be a convicted felon by the end of June.

Evidence-free and fact-free Putin sniffers on this site are running out of conspiracy theories to fall back on. Tick tock, freaks, your orange bronzered, cotton candy headed, diaper-filling, dementia-addled pervert is in real legal trouble, and all you have is Russian propaganda to fuel your fantasy dreams as reality comes around to splash water on your faces.

Nobody forced you to throw your full support behind that clown, but we watched you do it, and you won't be able to pretend you never liked him like you did when Bush dropped to single digits on the popularity meter. LOL

...dude's going to be a convicted felon by the end of June.

I'm betting there is at least one MAGA cultist on each of those juries.

This ---- reads like comedy.

And you READ like ----. The quotes are from the FBI INTERVIEW that was publicly released by the Court with the names REDACTED because the authorities don't want Trump disparaging or threatening the person. You do realize that lying to the FBI is a felony, right? The FBI KNOWS WHO THE PERSON IS and this same person will give testimony in the upcoming trial.

A summary of the associate's interview with federal agents was among nearly 400 pages of investigative records that were unsealed on Monday by the judge overseeing Mr. Trump's classified documents case. The associate's identity - in the unsealed records labeled as Person 16 - was redacted from the summary.
You continue to be little more than an insolent arse crapping on thread after thread like a baboon with diarhea.

The E Jean Carroll case wasn't political. The NY "Hush money" case is only political because the crimes were political.

Not our fault that your guy is a traitor and a crook. Good luck facing reality when all of the lies you believe about him fall apart in open court.
