Trump killed this Bill... he can't have his people who deal with Russian Intelligence get caught again like Manafort was.

The GOP shoots off its own foot, again explaining why the foot was such a threat.

FISA has been so abused it really needs to be reined in.

I remember a time when some liberals waved red flags and screamed about potential abuse when the Patriot Act was passed. I supported the Patriot Act as a temporary measure and was aghast when some conservatives wanted to kill the sunset provision and make it permanent.

This isn't about the substance of the Bill JeffyBelle, it's about the incompetence of the Republican Party.

This bill would have done that. How do you feel about the GOP being so dysfunctional that they killed their own legislation? Do you think that voters should trust them enough to allow them to maintain that majority come November?

Yes. Thank you. I remember they were right, too.

They were also right about civil rights for blacks they were right about Vietnam they were right about Iraq and they were right about Afghanistan too.

And yes they are right about women rights and abortion and healthcare for all (including women).

Maybe one day we will listen to liberals before we waste trillions of dollars on invading our own privacy undermining our health care undermining our democratic institutions our elections and trying to use major military operations to remake other countries in our image.

Imagine where we and the world would be if we had listened to liberals on climate change 20-30 years ago.

We'd be suffering the same fate as every other tragic human hellhole of the 20th century under Marxism.
