on Monday canceled sending an Israeli delegation to Washington, D.C., that was scheduled to arrive this week after the U.S. abstained from voting on a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
"In light of the change in the American position, Prime Minister Netanyahu decided the delegation would not leave," a statement from Netanyahu's office said, adding that the failure to block the proposal was a "clear retreat" from its previous position.
The U.N. Security Council had earlier approved a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, the first time it has made such a demand since the war began.

I think from now on no conversation can be had about this until both parties have sufficiently condemned the actions of the Israelis.

"In light of the change in the American position, Prime Minister Netanyahu decided the delegation would not leave"
Netanyahu is going to cozy up to Putin, that's the obvious direction this is headed.

Oh noes!!! Not the delegation!!!!!!!
Anything but that.
There simply isn't enough mass murderers in the US.
They simply must send an entire delegation of them.

Good start. Israel has been raping Palestine for over 80 years.
It's a bad day for the genociders and their apologists.
Fascism and oppression will lose.
Israel and its Big Lie are toast.

This is not over. A call for a ceasefire is a toothless act. Barbary on both sides will continue. I am not being facetious either. Both sides in this are being evil and acting evil.

I don't think #6 has sufficiently condemned Israel for its actions.

Biden has sent a very strong message to Netanyahu. Unfortunately, it won't be heard. Netanyahu thinks that he has such powerful allies in congress, lobbyists and campaign financiers that Biden will be made to limit his actions to "just words".

I never had any for Israel; I've consistently said there are no good guys in this fight between cousins. You must have me confused with some other handsome, intelligent, and thoroughly modest person.

"Justice delayed is Justice Denied."
All good fascists and authoritarians know that.
Trumpy the Terrible Tot knows all about that and is schooling us all about how to delay justice.

Yeah, but Israel just got our cash. All Israel did was cancel a meeting on how not to kill kids hosted in the US.
