Yet he only named cuts.

How do people get fooled by this rhetoric? The constant blathering of "tremendous" and "most/best/greatest/blah/blah/blah bulls%#^" nonsense he constantly spews ... then does nothing.

Trump's extended comments about Social Security have the quality of a drunken man, having sustained a severe blow to the head, attempting to quote Dr. Zeus. His brain is not working. It's just not. There ain't going to be a debate with Biden.

"cutting" spending under Social Security and Medicare,

In this case, means forcing Big Pharma to stop ripping us off. Like Trump had done before, and Biden instantly reversed.

Big Pharma pays off both sides, in case you were not aware. Trump is the only one ever to stand up to them.

Cap insulin price again, and level prices worldwide on other drugs AGAIN.
It's been long enough, so Biden can pretend it's his idea.

However, having said that, it seems to me that's code for cutting around the edges to pay for something else.

1) Trump lies a lot.

2) There is little or no evidence Trump has the mental capacity for debate.

3) I personally would like to see Donald go live on stage and try to defend his desire to ruin your grandmother's retirement.

4) But I suppose to have a grandmother you would also have to have had a mother.

No Trump fan here, but he did mention "fraud"

A 2015 report found 6.5 million active Social Security numbers for people over the age of 112 " but only 13 of them were being used to receive benefits.

According to the Social Security Administration, all improper payments, including payments to the deceased and the very old, are estimated at about $3 billion per year.

Total Social Security benefits in 2016 will exceed $900 billion, so eliminating $3 billion per year of improper payments would reduce costs by at most 0.4 percent, extending the program's solvency by about 3 months.

Cutting improper payments for only the very old or the deceased would reduce program costs by between 0.00002 and 0.002 percent, extending the program's solvency by between six minutes and 12 hours.

The GQP will throw "fraud" around to justify cutting benefits by 1/3 for everyone rather than making the "I park my boat in my boat" crowd pay back what they stole from the trust fund.

Biden is smart not to debate Trump. I'll admit that one reason is the prospect of Biden doing some "old guy" thing on stage that gets relentlessly blown out of proportion by Trump and the MSM.

At the end of the day, despite Biden's age and the risks that carries, he at least surrounds himself with normal competent people and not a bunch of vindictive 4chan psychopaths. It's worth voting Biden for the SCOTUS picks alone. And to the extent any activity, including a debate, risks making his reelection more difficult, he just shouldn't do it.

No one would object to republicans cutting waste and fraud IF republicans cut waste and fraud. What republicans want to do is declare that waste and fraud account for x% of the spending and use that as justification for cutting x% of the budget. That is such an obvious attempt to reduce spending. If they want to cut waste and fraud, identify the waste and fraud and then take action specific to the waste and fraud that was identified.

It sucks when we have one side who is willing to cut and another side who is willing to create budgets that spend more money in a country that is trillions in debt. Neither side is doing anything to fix the problem. Well, technically that's not true because Reps emphasize getting rid of fraud and abuse. Dems are just ignoring the problem and adding on to our spending while we continue to go deeper in debt. Either way, neither party is actually doing anything constructive about it yet. But, that is predictable. Americans don't care about anything until it hits us in the face.

"Cheney was the mastermind."

Yet, everything bad that happens under a POTUS's watch is his fault. Or does that only hypocritically apply to Reps? It's kind of rhetorical, I mean Biden still won't even accept the Afghanistan withdrawal problem and Dems aren't trying to hold him accountable at all. In other words, if Harris does something that requires mastermind-like intelligence and contr...omg, I can't even type the rest out without busting out laughing at the ridiculousness of that statement. "So how do you explain the correlation between intelligence and trump support?"

Very easy answer and the fact you don't know is very telling. The correlation depends on which party you have accepted indoctrination from. If you are a Dem, then any Rep POTUS is dumb. If you are a Rep, then any Dem POTUS is dumb. Since you didn't know, I assume you are 13 so I'm here if you have any other questions.

It's not indoctrination. Stupider people and uneducated people are attracted to trump because they're unable to see that he's the world's most obvious con man. They lack the mental ability and historical knowledge to connect the dots that he's a russian stooge. They're too dumb to comprehend why the CHARACTER of the president counts. And their ignorance of history leaves them unable to see how their current politics mirror every fascist uprising throughout history.

Um, I might be the only one but I do recall the 45th President of the United States, and am wondering why he did nothing about all the fraud and waste he now talks about for entitlement programs during his administration. All the complaints about how bad various branches of the US Government are running, and Der Dotard expects the man on the street to think that while in office Dotard had everything spinning like a top, only to see it crash and burn for Diamond Joe. OK, then, 45 should point to specific action that Joe took to cause the problems now identified.

Put up or shut up time is here, Dotard...
