If Biden can win a second term, Jack Smith will be going after all of the other J6 co-conspirators. I suspect Ron Johnson and other MAGA republicans will be on Smith's radar.

I agree with you there. However, I think of Jack Smith as a "go for the jugular" kind of prosecutor and if given the time and authorization, he will go after members of congress. However, there may need to be an AG change to obtain that authorization. I don't think that Garland has the stones to grant Smith that authorization.

When the history of this time period is written, the DOJ's sluggish response for holding the coup planners accountable will be attributed to Garland's plodding and nitpicking style resulting from so many years on the bench. A real prosecutor (ala Preet Bharara) should have been brought in to head the DOJ; not a former judge. I hope that Garland is replaced in a Biden 2nd term.
