Tensions at The New York Times over an investigative report on Hamas' use of sexual violence in the October 7th attacks have erupted into the open over the past week with fresh conflict surfacing nearly every day.

This same type of reporting gets called out in Manufacturing Consent, except it was NYT reporting on sexual violence by some CIA disfavored group in Central America.

Sexual violence is not an important part of the war. It just isn't. Both sides in this war adhere to a religion that teaches women are inferior to men.

Beg pardon? Certainly it is. It is a weapon. Russians and Hamas are pros.

It's not winning any wars. Or even changing the course of them.

This story is IDF and NYT using it as a weapon on the battlefield of public opinion.

It's got strong "They're Coming For Our White Women" vibes to it, in case you hadn't realized.

You stand with rapists.

It's a very Old Testament thing you're doing, that raping a woman is actually worse than murdering a woman.
She's valueless after she's been defiled!

The "good guys" and the "bad guys" commit rapes in wars. War sucks out basic morality and humanity

Lol!

The pro-Hamas crowd does not disappoint as they come out swinging to defend anything and everything Hamas does. We've almost reached MAGAt-level mental gymnastics. To the point that they deny that rape is an atrocity and one that has been used for millennia to terrorize in war (Nanking 80,000 rapes by Japanese of Chinese women. India-Pakistan partition, 100,000 rapes of Muslim women).

Hamas loves rape. Much like their ISIS brothers . Don't know why the pro-Hamas crowd bother denying it, unless the cognitive dissonance of supporting rapists is too much for their minds to handle (but murderers who intentionally targeted and killed 1,000 civilians, including women and children, are A-OK!).

And then they "both-sides" this. But when isolated Israeli soldiers commit rape, it is rightly considered a crime and one for which they may be punished under their laws. When Hamas rapes? That's just a bonus employment fringe benefit.

The Zionist's security apparatus routinely sexually assaults and humiliates both Palestinian women and men in detention because they know that taboos in Islam/Arab culture regarding speaking out about such atrocities are considered humiliating and detrimental to the victim's personal and social honor, so the victim is forced by cultural religious code to remain largely silent. The Zionist security apparatus also understands that the battlefield in Gaza and other occupied Palestinian areas is a largely public space so they use sexual assault and humiliation not as a weapon of war in that sphere (they already have enough bombs and armaments to just murder civilians outright and have their apologists explain it away) but during private interrogation and detention where it can remain hidden, applied and controlled.

The sexually humiliating treatment of Iraqi prisoners during the Iraq invasion at Abu Ghraib as a brief public exposure of longstanding Israeli techniques, as many Zionist advisors were on-hand to instruct American forces in such evil matters.

"To the point that they deny that rape is an atrocity"

^

Setting aside that nobody is denying that,

Nobody is going to take their moral cues from the guy why denies killing 30,000 civilians is an atrocity.

Nobody but the Deplorables and the Zionists.

The same people who won't say that assassinating Yitzhak Rabin was an atrocity.

To Zionists, assassinating Yitzhak Rabin wasn't an atrocity. It was necessary to ensure Israel's survival.

Just as the killing of 30,000 civilians, far from an atrocity, is necessary to ensure Israel survival

The atrocity would be if Zionists were not killing 30,000 civilians!

Just ask them, they will tell you. Just ask Censored, he tells us every chance he gets.

Was the Nabka rape-free, then?
LMFAO dude.
You're making rape funny again.

Not really. It's got strong "these people are animals" vibes certainly in case you didn't read the things they did. I was reading about them well before the NYT's piece. It is also not hard to believe when you see the videos of them during this terrorist attack. The videos were out there and I wish I could unsee some of what I saw.

Some of that post was jack---ery but it is a weapon. It is also about control. The Red Army raped it's way to Berlin. Estimates of the numbers of German women raped by Soviet soldiers have ranged up to 2 million. In many cases women were the victims of repeated rapes, some as many as 60 to 70 times. That doesn't include those IN the USSR, Poland and elsewhere.

BTW - those posted numbers by Japanese of Chinese (and Korean) women is WAY low. I think he got that number from the Nanjing Massacre.

"It is also about control."

Sure.

But a one time Hamas attack on a handful of Israeli Border Towns on Oct 7 is not on the scale of the Red Army pushing westward to Berlin.

If you want to get to the control angle, the oppression is in how Islamists treat their own women. The exceptionally rare chance to rape some Jews is just the icing on the cake.

"It's got strong "these people are animals" vibes"

It always does.

Dehumanizing the enemy is why Hamas says it's okay to rape the enemy's women.

Am I making myself clear?

The German dude who paid with his life when he didn't blow up the bridge at Remagen prevented what, a half million rapes?

But the war was lost by then. And rape isn't why.
It's not like it made the Red Army more combat effective.
It's not like we didn't ally ourselves with the Red Army.

And how do we argue with someone who conflates all Palestinians with Hamas? And would never consider the idea that much of the Israelis governing body is also a terrorist organization?

You're a POS.

Politics infects and infests wrong in everything if we allow it. Democrats and especially corrupt media and press have wronged us and the USA and our relationships. Purge all politics and officials by removing every element of it. The first step would be demanding media coverage that never again covers up and omits coverage based on politics or claims that for example - Hunter Bidens laptop needed protected and Trump prosecuted.

The media needs to provide absolute diversity and zero political or cultural favoritism or they lose a right to be considered journalists. When certain elements are over-represented will end up with a corrupt biased media, and corrupt government.

No more ethnic or religious or racial groups or caucuses that believe they can organize and affect politics and regular reporting on representation.

Yeah, not all Palestinians are Hamas. Just about
72% who were on board with Hamas targeting women and children for cold-blooded murder on October 7th. A support rate that would make any democratically elected politician proud.

And would never consider the idea that much of the Israelis governing body is also a terrorist organization?
Sure, let me know when they send peeps into a music festival for the express purpose of raping and murdering women and children.

You're a POS. #17 | Posted by Whatsleft
OK, but this article was about the Hamas-lovers flipping out because they can't tolerate the idea that their poor, desperate freedom-fighters somehow managed to eke up the energy to rape women.

So, while I may be a POS because the truth hurts you, I think that still makes me better than about 70% of Palestinians who would stand in a circle and cheer Hamas on. So, stick that in you pipe and smoke it.

Just about 72% who were on board with Hamas targeting women and children for cold-blooded murder on October 7th.

Keeping in mind over 50% of Palestinians in Gaza are children under the age of 18.

Who exactly where they asking?

Also. Your statistics keep changing. It used to be 80%. Then 70%. Now 72%.

Face it. You're spreading lies and propaganda.

"Yeah, not all Palestinians are Hamas. Just about 72% who were on board with Hamas"

What's the numbers from Israel in support of the 30,000 Palestinian civilians killed by Israel?

Whatever the number, it's okay for Hamas to kill them, like it's okay for IDF to kill Palestinians, right?
