... Hunter Biden appeared Wednesday on Capitol Hill, marking a critical phase for Republicans in their impeachment inquiry into his father, President Joe Biden, and the family's business affairs.

Hunter Biden took questions from members of three different House committees as part of the ongoing impeachment inquiry, which alleges the president profited from his son's business dealings during his time as vice president. There is no direct evidence supporting those claims. ...

...Hunter says laptop information fabricated'

Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, shared takeaways on X and pointed out several discrepancies from the closed-door conversation. When asked about personal data stored on his laptop, Hunter Biden said that he didn't recall dropping a laptop off at a Delaware repair shop. However, Jordan's post says multiple FBI and IRS officials have said that they authenticated the laptop at the Delaware repair shop as Hunter Biden's in December 2019.

Hunter Biden claims any information pulled from his laptop was fabricated.

"There is a fabricated conversation between me and a supposed Secret Service agent in a hotel room. ... The agent has sworn an affidavit and attempted to sue The Daily Mail and The New York Post over the fact that he has never met me, he has never had any conversation with me," Hunter Biden said. ...

... Jordan's post says multiple FBI and IRS officials have said that they authenticated the laptop at the Delaware repair shop as Hunter Biden's in December 2019. ...

Yeah, the laptop may have been authenticated as belonging to Mr Hunter Binden. But so what?

Was there established a chain of ownership for the contents of the laptop? It is the contents that are under examination in this case.

So, yeah, Mr Hunter Biden may have owned the laptop at one point, but what about the contents of the hard drive?

Did Rep Jordan tweet about that?

Or is Rep Jordan basking in the "private" aspect of this testimony to spin his own version of what was said?

It's nice to read just how badly Comer, Gaetz and Jordan love getting hit in the face over and over and over with the rakes they are stepping on.

Having worked in IT for more than 20 years, I can tell you that with enough personal information it would have been quite easy to make it look like a computer belonged to almost anyone.

Did you see this from the transcript:

Mr. Fallon: Would you agree -- I think we can agree on a lot of this stuff -- that it's fact that your dad became Vice President of the United States January 20th, 2009?

The Witness: I would agree to that.

Mr. Fallon: Okay. That part of his portfolio with the --

The Witness: I also agree that he became President on January 20th, 2020, which I think a number of you don't agree with.

BREAKING: Matt Gaetz just confirmed that Hunter Biden didn't invoke his 5th Amendment right even a single time today.

Let's compare:

- Eric Trump - 500 Times
- Donald Trump - 440 Times
- Hunter Biden - 0 Times

Details:

- Eric Trump took it more than 500 times, according to an NY attorney general office court filing.

- Former President Donald Trump invoked his Fifth Amendment right 440+ times during a deposition before lawyers from New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Now who are the liars and crooks?

Groupies of Putin puttin' on the blitz,
Biden's "great crime" was their parti pris!
They fired questions at their star witness -
But shot after shot, each one was a miss!
They watched as their case sunk deep in the abyss,

Then Hunter turned, and left the room
Droppin the mic with an amplified BOOM!

The Groupies of Putin dumbfounded at this,
Biden's hurtful and terrible undeserved dis!
Sulking and fuming at their own wretched miss
Suddenly realized their own remiss
Had left them with nothing but a case of the -----!

I find it interesting that no one on here wants to acknowledge that Hunter Biden did admit that "The Bug Guy" is in fact Joe. But hey ... I'm sure those emails were written when he was high on drugs and didn't actually know what he was saying when he made sure 10% went to said "Big Guy."

I only see Hunter denying ever having used that term with regard to his father and pointing out that he didn't know what the email writer who used the term was talking about.

Not that they didn't ask him 15 times.

Of the guy who wrote that email, Tony Bobulinksi, Hunter pointed out:

And that's why Tony is a bitter, bitter man that did not get in on a deal that he wanted to get in on, because I thought that he was both incompetent and an idiot. And he's proved himself to be so by the complete misstatements that he's made. I do know that Tony said that he was never at a meeting with Mark Meadows at a rally in, I forget where it was in Missouri and that he never wore a ski mask until the next day you get a picture with Mr. Meadows behind a car with Tony Bobulinski with a ski mask.

Oh, sorry I think the email was from James Giliar to Hunter and Tony but Tony testified to Congress earlier about the email and Hunter was pointing out that you couldn't believe everything Tony testified to:

It's from James Gilliar to Tony Bobulinski. Rob Walker and yourself. Have you seen this email before?

I have. I've seen it, I think, as we all have, 8,642,300 times.

Yeah, one guy--Gilliar--used the term in an email he sent to Bobulinski:

I want to come back to exhibit 16, which is the last exhibit my Republican 7colleagues introduced, the email from James Gilliar to Tony Bobulinski, cc'ing Rob Walker and you, in which he has that question at the end, "10 held by H for the big guy?"

As far as I can tell, Tony didn't mention the term in an email, only in his comments to Congress and elsewhere, which is why Hunter pointed out that Tony has been known to lie.

No, Hunter doesn't imply any such thing. Here is what Hunter said on pp 117-18:

Q One final question, because our round is up, I know everyone's disappointed 20 by that. 21 But the reference to the big guy, you would agree, is a reference to your father?

A I truly don't know what the hell that James was talking about. All I know is that what actually happened. All I know is that what was executed in the agreement, and the agreement didn't have anything to do with my father. My father's never been involved with my business. He's never benefited from my business, and he's never taken an action to benefit me or 2 any of my business.

After and hours hours of testimony the impeachment committee finally came to the earth shattering conclusion that Hunter Biden was indeed Joe Biden's son.

#35 | Posted by donnerboy at 2024-03-03 10:52 AM | Reply

A couple of other things about the big guy email: 1) it was sent on May 13, 2017 when Joe Biden was neither in office nor running for office, and 2) the email Gilliar sent to Tony B was preceded by a text message exchange on May 11 , 2017 between the two of them where they strategize on how to get the business deal pushed through before trying to get Hunter to bring his dad into the mix. pg 123:

Q And then there's this other text message from James Gilliar, exhibit 18, in which he tells Mr. Bobulinski, "Later Bro. Man, you are right. Let's get the company set up. Then tell H and family the high stakes and get Joe involved." Now were you aware on May 11th at the time these text messages were being sent that Mr. Gilliar and Mr. Bobulinski were having this conversation?

A Absolutely not.

Q And is it clear from reading this that what they appear to be discussing between themselves behind your back is a plan to try to convince to you get your father, Joe Biden, involved?

A It appears that that's the case.

#36 | Posted by Gal_Tuesday at 2024-03-03 11:14 AM | Reply

Bottom line:

From the text and emails in evidence it looks to me like that Tony B and Gilliar were the ones hoping/trying to get Joe Biden to enter into the deal with them. They are the ones who came up the the idea and then tried to get Hunter to agree to the plan.
