We're just hours away from what could be the first moon landing by an American spacecraft in 50 years, a success that would kickstart the nation's hope to eventually establish a long-term presence on the moon as part of its Artemis program.

Interesting there's not a video feed of the actual flight. Wonder if the lander will send down images later on.

Waiting for comm signal.

Very weak signal but indicates it's down and not splattered all over the surface.

While the righties claim this country is a disaster, I say, Congratulations!!! Truly awesome stuff.

No need. There's no footage to display, just a constant simulation.

That's all you need THESE days to dupe the masses: simulations.

So Fat Donnie Loser is a simulation?

Makes me wonder why they bother to fake the missions that fail, like the last one. What's the point of that?

I find right wingers and their constant
penchant for labeling any achievement by the
non-right as some conspiracy both boring
and tedious--at best.

Hey losers! Try getting a few accomplishments
under your belt that don't include tax breaks for
billionaires or govt. shutdowns and then maybe
we will listen to what you have to say. But as it
stands, you have nothing...zero, zilch, nada...
no accomplishments to offer this nation in the last,
what? Eight to a dozen years?

You built part of a wall (big whoop!) You took away
rights from women. Not really an accomplishment.
And you stole Latino children from Latino parents and
sent half here, and half there, destroying Latino
families in the process. Congratulations you
------ ----!

But those are the only things they know how to do.

They don't care about anything else.

Period.

I heard it launched a small probe just before landing was able to take a selfie as it was landing.

I look forward to seeing the footage.

LMAO! it fell on its side.

They had to power that down due to the navigation problems they were having landing, so no selfies.

They might be able to launch it later.

Exactly. That's what Space X does... launch things that other people build.
