Never understood the anti-gluten craze anyway, just suspect folks think if something doesn't have gluten, they're gonna lose weight. Read that only something like 3/10s of 1% are actually allergic.

My intolerance only recently started showing up by way of really bad cramps and ugly indigestion while using the restroom. Spouse and I switched to Gluten-free for the last several weeks while I wait to see my PCP, and the cramps have stopped.
And, for the record, those with gluten intolerance can still participate in Catholic communion.

Can you tell me how? By just being present? I understand those with non-celiac allergies might be able to, because it might cause minor discomfort, but those that are allergic won't really be able to participate in Catholic communion. Most parishes I've been to has implemented dipping their cracker in the wine. So anyone with an allergy can basically give up on that.
