YML...nice link...amazing that the repubs. had so much going for them coming out of 1994, a disgraced pres. and a dem. congress in disarray. They should have had a 40-years plus domination of the US political agenda and 100 + years judicial dominance.

The conservative judicial advances in the Supreme Court will be negated by the dem. appointments over the next 40+? years. The court will be more conservative but the next pres. will probably nominate 3 justices in his/her first term.

But Rob, he'll still be voting with the Democratic Majority on most issues. On the important issues.

Maybe... maybe not... It sounds like he's at least open to the thoughts and beliefs of the other side of the aisle... that's alright with me.

He's a so-called conservative Democrat in a very red state, he has his constiutuents to answer to at the end of the day...

We need more Democrats and Republicans like this guy.

Rob...he will vote with the dem. caucus and the dems. will control the agenda. Even with an influx of conservative dems. the bills coming out of congress will be left center.

Rob... assuming the two candidates have similar conservative credentials, in a very red district the choice was to go dem. The other races show the same results, even in nation wide generic contests of dems. vs. repub. the dem. candidates have double digit leads. There seems to be a nation wide rejection of the republ. Party.
