You said, "the climate has never changed this fast before." So...the fact that wooly mammoths have been found with the contents of their stomachs frozen would seem to indicate that they were frozen extremely rapidly, which would seem to indicate a very quick change in the surface temperature. So I'm curious as to where you come up with the conclusion that climate doesn't change this fast. As has been stated previously, the earth has gone through a number of cyclical changes in temperature. Some resulted in temperatures much warmer than we currently have while others have resulted in temperatures cooler than we currently have. So things could get quite a bit warmer -- completely naturally -- before they start to cool down again. But it will cool down again, and then it will warm up again. It's a natural temperature cycle, just like summer and winter, only on a longer time scale. The only reason people are making a big deal out of this is for political power, so they can scare you into letting them control your life.
