Why does this suddenly have to be about the world at large, or the United States? Why can't people just see this for what it is: a guy who decided to do the right thing; a guy who decided to make a difference; a guy who decided to protect the innocent, and in so doing, possibly sacrifice his own life. I think his actions set an example for us all. Notice the difference in what he did, and in what the black man did who decided to come to his rescue (if you watch the video), and all the other people around who just stood there, or snapped videos. Why did nobody else say anything to those guys? Answer: because, sadly, there are few people like this brave man who are willing to risk their own personal safety to make a difference. I'm just glad he was at the right place at the right time.
