On this topic, I'd beg to differ. We have the largest and most destructive conventional bombs on the planet. We have unmmatched air superiority, and we have the best trained ground forces with the most advanced armored vehicles.

If you're talking about men hiding by roadsides with detonators attached to IED's, then yes, those are difficult to defend against. In actual "combat" however, nobody can compete.

Surely I don't give a fuck about what Spud said about whoever. I assume Rob's a big boy and can make decisions about what's appropriate and inappropriate to say about a deceased love one. Or, maybe I'm wrong and this just proves that point that some pussies too often take advantage of the anonymity the internet provides.

Ok asswhipe, imagine your wife dying of cancer then imagine someone calling your dead wife "cancerous" and "whiney". Then imagine that person trying to play the victim and excuse their behavior because they caught a few jokes about being the lady of the house.

This might be the lowest thing I've heard in a long time. I don't give a fuck what anyone's personal situation is, or how bad a day they're having, but comments like that are inexcusable.

It's disingenuous to say the least to accuse Obama of flip-flopping. His stance has ALWAYS been that winning in Afghanistan should be a priority.

Sending 10,000 more troops to a place where we only have 30,000 will have a much greater impact than sending 40,000 to Iraq. The goal is more defined in Afghanistan, and the people who orchestrated the attack on 9/11 are there, or Pakistan.
