I agree with Spud, this guy was a plant. First time I saw the video it struck me odd he was trying to be a small business earning around $250K. Nice coincidence. What McCain did not bank on was people actually tracking this guy down. Duh, that is what the media does because they have nothing better to do.

Sanchez was tough but Plumber was the a-hole. Joe told him to go look up "principles" in the dictionary. Of course, he couldn't answer the question on how a guy making so little could be in favor of rich people. Sanchez finally took a shot about Plumber not paying his taxes.

Someone on the set mentioned that Plumber kept accusing Sanchez of lacking principles, yet he is the one who misrepresented his income (over $250K) and the fact that he doesn't plan to start a busiess (which Plumber did not dispute).

And here I thought teens got pregnant by having unprotected sex. Time to adjust abstinence education to encourage destroying the TV.

What a joke. In Texas, getting caught for DUI is irrelevant. Only stupid people actually face punishment. Lawyers openly advertise to not take the breathalyzer and act stupid during the field sobriety test. In San Antonio Ex News a few months ago they proved how easy it was to beat DUI in Texas. No wonder the state leads the nation in DUI fatalities.

This story is dumb because these guys walk whether the tests are valid or not.

I thought Repubes were in favor of death penalty for the "mentally challenged." Maybe Bush will pardon her before leaving office. I am sure he can relate.

I think homeowners who shoot intruders should sue the families for the cost of the bullet used (and clean-up if necessary).

Anyone who believes Shrub attacked Iraq because he had the best interests of the Iraqi people forfront on his mind is as dumb as a post.

I totally agree with that. Iraq is worse than our usually stupid endeavors to spread democracy. It was about oil and money. Oil didn't work out as expected, but Haliburton and other solid GOP companies did pretty decent.

Funny how McCain calls Dems socialists for wanting to redistribute wealth. Haven't Repubes done that already by taking hard earned tax dollars and gifted it to the rich a-holes that get them elected? Hmm.

Not when there are enough Americans still willing to believe we invaded Iraq for a noble cause.

Not when Americans have this attitude that everyone needs to be like us. Fact is, we spread democracy to places that will never be like us. Heck, we are the greatest democracy in the world and all we hear about is voter fraud during every election. I bet other countries are thinking: "Sure, we should be like them because it will solve all our problems."

The US is the greatest country on earth. But, our system is not going to work everywhere. We need to get it through our heads that Iraq will always be led by the strongest dictator because that is all they want there. Instead of Sad-damn we will have hell-Sadr. And how many troops died for that transition of power?

Why didn't these same people protest when Sad-damn was in power? I mean he truly brutalized them and they didn't say a damn thing.

As Americans, we need to just let people in other countries kill each other as they wish. When we get involved, we become the bad guy for trying to help. Screw it, the world is overpopulated anyway. Let them balance it out on their own.

Race is not an issue?

Why did Hilary consistenly win primaries with secret ballots even though polls showed her way behind? Why did Obama win pretty much every caucus, where you have to stand in a group and pretend not to be racist. Here in Texas, Hilary wiped her ass with Obama in the primary (secret) but lost in the 'two-step' part of the process (public).

Like everyone is saying, what a white person says in public is not the same thing they vote for in a secret booth. Like it or not, you know it is true.

Also, what is with this "off with his head" business at McCain rallies? I mean seriously. Is that the 21st century way of saying "string his ass from a tree"? Ohh, I know, chanting to kill a guy via decapitation is harmless and in good political fun. It cannot be serious, who would ever do that just because he is a black man.

I don't think the US will be quick to surge again to save gays. We will just tell them, if they ask then "Don't Tell" and everything will be ok.

Before the recent storms, oil was dropping. Prices had dropped to pre-April levels, when I paid about $2.50. Depite the recent drop, gas was still $1 higher now. Hmm.

Now, the hurricane allows them to raise prices even though oil prices drop. So, they will get more per gallon with $100 per barrel oil than when it hit $145.

Next, they will not drop prices again unless oil drops. So, if oil does not hit $75 per barrel, expect to pay around $4 a gallon. By Memorial Day, yep, $4.50 and up. Why? You will be conditioned to the new price point.

Let's bet a huge quarter for {insert company} that breaks previous records.
