It's apparent you cannot make the distinction between a war fought between countries with armies and a police action against and armed group of religious fanatics bent on forcing humanity to submit to their way of living and believing.

Mean while you live in a country that is kept safe buy US soldiers who risk their lives to ensure you have the right to speak in your very narrow terms.

Using "Ponzi scheme" which was a ruse to swindle investors using US postage stamps to describe what is happening in the world is pathetic. Now go stick your head back in the sand so you don't catch a cold.

I am astounded by liberal's inability to ascertain a situation and can do nothing but whine and point fingers (similar to an 8 year old). For some reason they can't grasp the fact that these militants were not conscripted in to an army, handed a rifle and ordered to charge the front line. It never dawned on them that these guys WANT to and go to great lengths to joint these groups, kill everything in their path and blow up whatever they can find and strip people of their freedoms all in the name of Allah.

Rather then just dismiss what you don't agree with, take a step back and consider the situation. Bush is just dealing with a situation that Bill Clinton chose to avoid. It's messy, it's costly, people get killed.

We have not had an act to terrorism since 9/11 under President Bush and that is no accident. The US government actually has done a good job in this area which I'm sure you’re loath to admit. On the domestic front is another matter as evident in our downward slide as we become a broke second tiered country with a bunch of citizens demanding more entitlements.

I think there is a conscious effort NOT to apprehend him. We are better off keeping him on the run always having to look over his shoulder wondering if he's in the cross hairs of a UAV he can't see or hear. Let him live out his pathetic life in a cave where he belongs and let him die in obscurity. To turn him into a martyr would be a mistake.

If you think a tax increase will satisfy the government need for revenue you are sadly mistaken. The more you feed the pig the fatter it will get. No politician can resist spending money on programs that will please the people who don't pay taxes which gets them re-elected on someone else's dime. Most liberals feel that high taxes are good as long as someone else is paying for it. I have no problem having a sliding scale for wage earners but there needs to be a limit on how much the government can take. I laugh when Hillary gave a speech and said "together we can rebuild this country and make it work for everyone". I don't know what she means by "together"? because the dems are going to do it on the back of successful people while the other 80% reap the rewards.

I know quite a few people who are not doing very well because they are either lazy, stupid or feel work is beneath them. This will only give them an incentive to continue down that path. If you are in that category the Democrats will reward you. If you’re successful you will be punished. Maybe we can all quit our jobs and sit home and wait for our government subsidies

Socialism is slowly taking hold in this country. France is trying to crawl out of that hole but too many of the people who benefit from it threaten to sabotage the economy.

Funny how angry liberals always seem to asses blame and whine about everything yet they can offer little in the way of solution other then making someone else to pay the tab (I would not be surprised when Mr. Obama gets into office he will start subsidizing lower income citizens heating bills with tax payer dollars ).

I have a lot more faith that industry will be the ones who provide the innovation to solve this problem not some bleeding heart liberal . Meanwhile Al Gore promotes his global warming agenda to fatten his bank account with his carbon credit investment firm (No different then Dick Chaney with a different angle). His net worth has increased 100 fold since he left office. Imagine that?
