Yeah, all those Democrats in Congress are why they have a 9% approval rating. That's why they not only lost numerous seats that were up for grabs, but were also voted out of incumbent seats in traditional Democratic strongholds...oh wait, nevermind.

You raise a good point, on the other hand, since the Dems picked up (at least) 7 seats in the Senate and 20 in the House, perhaps those dismal congressional approval ratings were because of the GOP members?

OK, I know that's a false assumption to make, the fact remains that although Congress has remarkably low approval, the GOP has become nationally disliked enough to have been ousted from part of its traditional strongholds...perhaps the Republican party really should get back to its roots.

You're absolutely right, Joe Biden is far more qualified to lead than Palin. But, when examining the policy stances of both McCain and Obama, no McCain is not "ready to lead from January 20, 2009, unless you mean ready to lead America further into the Abyss. Get a grip, Obama is the better candidate, and the (clear) majority of Americans are realizing that fact.

There's a limit on Roth plans no matter what. I'm pretty sure that it's $4300 a year right now, but, with compound interest (which you don't have to pay tax on under the Roth plan) it's a nice side investment for retirement. Best plan for anyone is Federal Government's TSP, unfortunately, you have to work for the Federal Government to get it:^(
