The fairness doctrine is already being discussed in the halls of Congress for re-enactment and the person who wrote the article is either naive, ignorant or just like the mainstream media, wants to deceive people. Try searching news articles and find out how many in Congress want to bring it back, instead of telling your lies and deceit here. So don't blame the economy on the Republicans because the president can only sign or veto what is sent to him. The Dems have done a fine job showing how crooked they are - Rangel and Jefferson with Murtha and Kennedy in the background, and how ignorant they are - trying to force liberal legislation such as hate crimes bills, and how they lied about working across the aisle since they won't let any judicial nominations go forth.
