The NWS forecast for the plains and midwest looks brutal for the next several days.

They're calling for multiple strong, long track tornadoes in Oklahoma and Kansas tonight and into tomorrow IIRC.

Tomorrow is a bit of a lull for my area, but Wednesday they're calling for strong tornadoes, baseball sized hail and 70+ MPH winds.

Gotta clear out my garage a bit to make sure my cars fit.

OK can be VERY good for issuing storm warnings, telling folks in Wherever they need to be where they were going to hole-up in 3-minutes because otherwise they wouldn't survive what was about to hit them. Live broadcasts from helicopters following the storms - exploding houses, flying debris, total chaos - drove the message home. Interestingly, in KS you've got the basements for tornadoes, much rarer in OK (soil conditions). Good luck folks and stay hunkered down.
