#116 - There's no right answer here - if we let the kids and parents in, we're basically breaking the law and allowing everyone in regardless of whether they have a valid aslyum claim or not. We'd immediately switch from granting asylum to an open border. What do you do when an asylum seeker, who has literally no right to asylum shows up with the kids? Put the kids in the holding tank while things get sorted? Or put the kid with an American social worker?
I'd actually say holding tank, myself - otherwise there's too much risk the kid gets to stay and the parent turns into a "sneaking in" type of invader, because his kid's here and parents tend to do whatever they can to be around their kids.
THIS is why we need an absolute law. The answer is no, no, and ---- you no. THIS will stop the problem. For so long as we are, in any way, lenient, the poor masses at our edges will throw their children at us and feed on our compassion.
