This is nothing earth shattering. I have been an airline pilot for 28 years. This happened to the airline i work for in 1990 when temperatures exceeded 120F. airplane manufactures didn't provide takeoff performance data for any temperatures above 120F back then. If you wanted that kind of data then the airline had to pay extra for it which our airline has done. smaller regional airlines probably didn't want to pay extra for something that they rarely would need. This isn't a sign or evidence that the globe is heating up. it is just evidence that companies are too cheap to pay for things that they may need once in awhile.
