That is the funny thing, the mouthbreathers who are excited about this have no clue that Congress has little or no ability to throw anyone in jail with their contempt citations, it's not like they are going to send the Sargent at Arms over to the DOJ or Commerce and arrest anyone, he would never get in the door.

On the bright side for Ross and Barr, like Holder they no longer have any reason to testify on Capitol Hill.

ROC...

You're too smart not to understand that when I'm having a back and forth with you and out of nowhere LCL answers my question with the same logic and lines that you've been using, it's not a coincidence. Then today, no one else is using that format (or please provide an example if it's so common), something just like I always used to use (the ...) like I did to you above.

I wasn't even thinking about it, my mind just made the connection in scrolling and then I went back and checked to make sure. The two of you (lol) can't hide the similarities no matter how hard you try. You say you know each other but in my 15+ years here I don't recall the things that occur with the two of you.

So whatever, it truly doesn't matter. But I'm not going to ignore that which you place in front of my eyes.

Tony,

The whole ROC is LCL thing just doesn't make sense.

What is the motivation?

Also, Rcade generally frowns on sock puppet accounts and puts a stop the them.

Both have been posting here for well over 10 years. There is no way Rcade would allow a sock puppet account like that persist for that long.

Again, what is the motivation?

#31 | Posted by Vaquero at 2019-07-17 09:39 PM | Reply | Funny: 2

Again, what is the motivation?

Have no idea. I'm only speaking to evidence and what logical reasons it exists how and where it does. It's curious that things happen as they do. I've been here for over 15 years and I've never been in a multi-post discussion with someone on a thread where the conversation with one turns into a conversation with someone else responding with a 1st person reference (referring to the other's post as their own) to comments I posted for the other. That was the mistake, and when I mentioned it at that time, silence. Let me be clear: LCL stated that what ROC had posted above was his, not realizing the post was under the other moniker.

Today, I saw one post, and then within minutes the other and my brain had a fart, and I went back and checked, then reported the unmistakable format similarity that I believe is more than just coincidence. Again, it is what it is, and my original trigger happened in the early days of attributed flags. ROC and LCL would flag each other and often be the only flags for those posts, often in conversations with me.

All of it means little if nothing. But what I just said did happen.

#32 | Posted by tonyroma at 2019-07-17 09:58 PM | Reply | Newsworthy 1

I think the last time this came up, DR veterans were satisfied with the explanation that LCL is ROC's houseboy; and that also explains why they share an IP address, among other things.

A Whataboutism is a perfectly valid response to point out hypocrisy.

Sure it is, if you care more about whether an anonymous internet pister on a blog site has been adequately consistent than you do about the enforceability of subpoenas and the "rule of law." But that would say a lot more about you than it would about whether Barr or Congress are in the right, and it's a classic deflection.

Cool story bro. Your example of a partisan republican fantasy scandal is totally equal to the current president of the united states installing an attorney general puppet who is protecting him from the law. A president who took assistance from our enemies to get elected, giving them blackmail power over him, never reporting them to the authorities and lying to cover it up, and who is hiding his financial past.

It certainly looks, from your comment, as if you seem to be the one reveling over the contempt of law and order by the Trump administration officials.

Why do you seem to be so in favor of administration officials who have sworn to serve the United States (and not the President of the United States) actively refusing to show up for testimony in front of the People of the United States?

Or are you, as it seems to be, in favor of Pres Trump's administration move towards a dictatorship?

@#44 ... president of the united states installing an attorney general puppet who is protecting him from the law ...

Pres Trump often said, while AG Sessions was serving, that he wanted an AG that would protect him. Not protect the People of the United States, as an AG should do, but protect him personally.

That is why Pres Trump dumped AG Sessions. AG Sessions, for all the issues I had with him (and there were many), I always respected AG Sessions for his adherence to the Constitution. He was no lap dog.

AG Barr, on the other hand, seems to act as if he were Pres Trump's personal lawyer. Pres Trump has often stated that he thinks the AG should protect him, and not be the lawyer of the People.

Pres Trump has also stated how much he likes how AG Barr is doing "his job."

In short, the only thing I expect from AG Barr with any manner of accuracy or professionalism is how may polyps Pres Trump has.

Beyond that, AG Barr is a lap dog. Something for show.

Otherwise, you are just a hypocrite.

Any chance you can flesh that one out a bit? I'm not sure what you are referrencing.
I know it can't be the Trump Tower meeting, since there is no evidence that Trump knew about that meeting prior to it being made public and never lied about it. It couldn't be that, because no honest person would pretend that Trump failing to report a meeting that he was not aware of was somehow a sinister act.
