A 75-year-old Florida man says he kicked an alligator in the snout after it attacked his dog. Buddy Ackerman says the 8-foot gator came from a retention pond near his Palm Harbor condominium earlier this week and grabbed the dog while they were out for an early morning walk. He kicked the gator until it let go of the golden retriever. Neither animal was injured.

lol, best not.

Tourists feed these gators, and then when someome walks by and doesn't feed them, they get upset.

And if you've never been close enough to really hear a pissed off gator, well....

then there's the Tommy Woodward "F that gator!" story (it's a short story)

The only real vulnerable spot on an alligator are its eyes.

#8 | Posted by bayviking, Eyes are the most vulnerable, but gators have a large cluster of nerves on their nose, apparently to feel vibrations in the water. If the gator has hold of something, a hard slap with a 2X4 on it's nose will force to to let go. At least that's what my relatives in Southern Louisiana tell me, they deal with those critters way too often.
