With 22 Republicans absent from the state Capitol, the Alaska Legislature on Wednesday failed to garner 45 votes to override Gov. Mike Dunleavy's decision to veto $444 million from the state operating budget.

The cons were saying it would never actually happen. Now Alaskan citizens are without this higher education system.

This is what happens when you already have a weakened university and high school system. Send the bill for when Alaska goes bankrupt to the oil companies and their puppet politicians. The oil gas companies just want everybody to be as stupid as the conservatives in that state and they are winning. How embarrassing for a state to go backwards in funding the poor, old and the university systems.
