"On the Turning Away"

A couple of fun facts:

The album Momentary Lapse of Reason was the first album the band produced without Roger Waters.

The album was produced on David Gilmour's house boat on the Thames river.

As for this particular song...Gilmour had laid down the instrumental but didn't compose any lyrics. One of the band's technicians listened to the instrumental and begged to compose the lyrics. Gilmour acquiesced and what emerged was, and is, a beautiful melodic song.

Stumbled across this video awhile back.
It's Canned Heat singing "Let's Work Together" on a UK dance show in 1970.

What a stroll down memory lane of my younger days.
