The wealthy San Francisco residents who launched a crowdfunding campaign to block construction of a new homeless shelter in their waterfront neighborhood are employing a new tactic: arguing that homeless people are bad for the environment.

Yeah same thing happened down here in AlmadenValley.

All for the homeless getting shelter, or the poor with section8, but just don't put it in our neighborhood where we have to look at it while driving our Teslas and Prius's

I actually had no issue with them building the homeless shelter near my place.
