The giant Foxconn manufacturing complex planned in Wisconsin is likely to continue falling short of the threshold required to begin receiving billions of dollars in state incentives, even after production begins next year.

Trump calls Wisconsin Foxconn plant the "8th Wonder of the World" (June 2018)
www.fastcompany.com

...President Trump has high hopes for Foxconn's new plant in suburban Milwaukee. Speaking today at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, he called it "the eighth wonder of the world."

For all the money it's costing Wisconsin, Foxconn's new plant should indeed be wondrous. Foxconn won nearly $4.8 billion in tax breaks and incentives in exchange for agreeing to build the new facility on Wisconsin soil.

Foxconn has said the new plant will create 13,000 new jobs.....

Which efforts are those? There has not been any change in the agreement. There certainly has been nothing that would prevent FoxConn from hiring people or building. The state already build the access roads and bought all the land to give them

Just another of former Governor Walker's failed promises and problems he left for others to solve.

What, specifically, did Evers do?

It is all Governor Evers can do when he tries to counteract against the gerrymandered Republican majorities in BOTH houses of the state. The bovine excrement fed us by former Governor Walker about the Foxconn deal was amazing. The state of Wisconsin has come to a halt as the Republicans work in a fever to thwart Governor Evers' efforts to run the state!

Why would they meet the goals? It's not like any of the rich people are going to get in trouble for not meeting goals, regardless what they are releasing to the public.
