Benjamin Wittes: Second, ask him only yes-or-no questions. You don't have a lot of time. Use it to build up to the point you want to make. Ask short, crisp questions that require short, crisp answers that allow you to move on to the next question.

What do you think about your friend Fixer Barr's Trump spin on your Report?

How about, "knowing that the Steele dossier was debunked and was paid for by the Clinton campaign explain why you used it as evidence to start your investigation."

"knowing that the Steele dossier was debunked..."

Interesting tactic.

Do you always start your questions off with a lie?

At what point did you realize there was no collusion and why didn't you end the witch-hunt at that point?
Did anyone influence or attempt to influence you in your non-prosecution of Jeffery Epstein?

The only way to make this work well, is to read the report in detail and ask good questions.

Parts were true some was unverified (the peep pee tapes, Prague, etc.)

Since some of it was true than it was not "debunked".

At what point will you realize that there really was cooperation between the President and his campaign with the Russians (but NO COLLUSION!!! ...which not a crime) and that there really was a Russian cyber attack on our elections? And that it was not a hoax or a witch hunt as the President constantly lies and claims?

Do you understand what RAW intelligence is? Steele wasn't drawing conclusions about the truthfulness of the intelligence, just that this is what he was hearing from his (cultivated over the decades) Russian, and other, contacts. Why would FBI counter-inteligence not investigate the kind of allegations that were in it? Seems to me that would be dereliction of duty.

Exactly.

Especially since they were already investigating Russian espionage.

Trumpy the humpyback whale just got caught up in the net.

Now poor humpy mad!

So humpy obstructs justice! That will teach them to catch humpy.

Ok I get it, just because a major part of it (tying Trump to Russia) was un true it still should be used to obtain a FISA warrent. And yes there was a cyber attack by Russia on our election, about 100k on crappy facebook ads, but guess what? There were anti-Trump ads as well. And has anyone proven that the Russians hacked the DNC? no, no proof. Good evidence that it was a pissed off Bernie supporter. So no, the Steele Dossier was proven crap so the question still stands Mr Mueller.

"it still should be used to obtain a FISA warrent. "

It was not used to obtain a "warrent" or a warrant.

It was more evidence added to other evidence that needed to be investigated. The Steele Dossier it was information about a Trump campaign foreign policy adviser that sparked the FBI's counterintelligence investigation into Russian interference in the election.

There is no proof it is true. If it were, show it to us.

The point is that "fake" Obama birth certificate was made up opposition research bs that didn't deserve any attention
AND
The Steele dossier (50 cent word for folder) was also made up opposition research bs that people in the FBI should be fired for using to obtain a FISA warrant.

you can stop spreading that debunked lie now.

The dossier (all 50 cents worth) was NOT made up (a series of memo...though not 100% accurate and it was NOT used to obtain the original FISA warrant.)

Information about George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, is what had prompted the ORIGINAL FBI investigation in July 2016.

Do you know why a blind pig finds the truffle? Because they aren't using their eyes.

Yes, Trump did stumble upon a type of cover-up. Obamas father is not a Kenyan national, but is American author Frank Marshall Davis. Other than that, screw bigots. Trump was not informed or studied and has no basis for his allegations and otherwise was playing to racist scum who vote by skin color. Everyone was surprised "he" won. Well, maybe not Putin. Oh, and screw their Stormfront intelligence operation.

#37 | Posted by redlightrobot at 2019-07-08 10:44 PM | Reply

Only one thing in it could be confirmed - some chick went to an airport, but not where she flew. And you find that on passport records that are public.

Everything in it was made up by Putin and handed to Hillary.

Yeah, there was collaboration, but it wasn't Trump.

Two former members of Mueller's staff have been asked to speak with House committees. Barr has not just instructed them to ignore a congressional subpoena; he's also telling them to go back on an agreement they've already made to appear. And what's most amazing about all this is that Barr is issuing orders to two men who are no longer with the Justice Department. The attorney general is telling private citizens that they can't talk to Congress.

As The New York Times reports, former special counsel's office attorneys Aaron Zebley and James Quarles have already reached an agreement to testify before the same two committees as Mueller. That agreement was made when Barr was still operating on the pretense that the White House didn't care what Mueller or his team had to say. But as Barr's rhetoric has moved from go ahead to full stop, the DOJ has declared its opposition to Zebley and Quarles speaking to Congress. That opposition has been expressed in direct instructions telling them not to show.
