Hopefully nobody is protected in this case. Same goes for the Deutsche Bank investigation.

It's past time to expose the rich and connected. all of them.

The bloated------------ was none too happy when this protester showed a picture of him alongside Epstein at one of his MAGA klan rallies.

Just an asterisk? Is there a statute of limitations?

People have ben noting he's been acting even more strangely than usual and correlating it to the Epstein case.

Kellyanne may eventually say something like Trump's base knew he wasn't an angel when it elected him; that his sexual crimes were litigated by the 2016 election. Or choose a variant.

These are nervous times for some of Jeffrey Epstein's friends.

These are nervous times for Jeffrey Epstein. Period!

He thought it was all in the bag. Now let's wait and see which "friends," if any, are going to be identified by the victims. Maybe none because I seem to recall that Epstein isn't facing the same charges he faced in Miami.

We'll probably know before this day is over.

Jeffrey Epstein Shouldn't Expect to Wriggle Free Again

Feds in Florida cut an infamous sweetheart deal with the confessed billionaire sex predator. The ‘sovereign' district of New York isn't likely to do that.

Frank Figliuzzi @FrankFigliuzzi1

Yes, AG Barr oversees the US Attorney's Office in NY, so it's possible he could attempt to interfere, though it would be obvious. Also, many years ago, Barr's father hired Epstein to teach at the private Dalton school, with no college degree. So there's that...

I doubt Epstein would be in trouble had Hillary won.

Well, Epstein was a big Democrat supporter donating millions.

this will probably go away just like when everyone found out that most of the accused in the #METOO movement were Democrats

The indictment has been unsealed...

Jeffrey Epstein Charged by U.S. With Sex Trafficking, Conspiracy
www.bloomberg.com

...Fund manager Jeffrey Epstein was charged with sex trafficking and conspiracy, accused by U.S. prosecutors of paying girls as young as 14 for sex and using them to recruit others from 2002 to 2005.

A two-count indictment was unsealed early Monday in federal court in Manhattan, where Epstein is expected to make an appearance and seek to be released on bail. He was taken into custody after years of accusations of child molestation. He's expected to appear in a New York federal court later on Monday.

Epstein was arrested Saturday at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey after he returned from France, according to a person familiar with the matter. In court, prosecutors may emphasize his access to a private plane and a home overseas, along with his wealth and the steep penalty for sex trafficking, as part of an argument to deny him bail....

For those not in the NYC area, Teterboro Airport is a very busy area airport in New Jersey that tends to cater more towards private jet trffic than the more well-known NYC commercial airports.

#10 Danni's right. All spectrums, regardless of politic, need to feel the hammer.

I fear that this'll go like many others...the offered 'names' disappears.

The story is always big names never disclosed and sealed.

AG Barr quietly terminated seven investigations that were started up as a result of the Mueller investigation. How many of those were in the SDNY?

AG Barr regularly checks Pres Trump for polyps. I do not expect him to sit and watch in this case.

Those were all third party subpoenas that were opened as separate files in the Mueller investigation, closing them is SOP, sorry to ruin your conspiracy theory.

Prosecutors unseal sex trafficking charges against Jeffrey Epstein
www.axios.com

...Investigators also seized nude photographs of underage girls from his Manhattan townhouse....

3 unnamed victims are cited in the case in New York. A judge ruled in February that prosecutors had broken the law in reaching a previous plea deal. One of those prosecutors was then-U.S. Attorney Alexander Acosta -- now President Trump's Labor secretary. ...

Before his first arrest, Epstein was an influential hedge fund manager who once counted President Trump, former President Bill Clinton and Britain's Prince Andrew among his friends....

Just now in court for Epstein's "not guilty" plea:

Shimon Prokupecz @ShimonPro

Prosecutors just told the court that in the last 36 hours the office has been contacted by attorneys and people who said they were victims, none of whom the office has previously spoken with.

To get up to speed on Jeffrey Epstein's victims & eyewitnesses; the copious evidence of his Palm Beach system of kidnapping, indenturing, and----------; and the role of Alan Dershowitz, this short @MiamiHerald doc is brilliantly reported & made:

Documentary: Who is Jeffrey Epstein, accused of sexually abusing teen girls?

Palm Beach multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein is a free man, despite sexually abusing dozens of underage girls according to police and prosecutors.

Because they were not "investigations", they are 3p subpoenas for his Trump investigation, they each had to have their own file number so that the could be dealt with for objections, protective orders, etc. They had to be closed per Court rules once the Trump investigation closed since they were no longer part of of an open investigation.

Once the hyperventilating media realized that was a non-story, it went away.

Let's remember who has jurisdiction on what. The feds can bust him for interstate transportation of minors, trafficking. Sex crimes are under the jurisdiction of the states. I doubt the states will prosecute if Epstein gets life. But the civil courts will be packed for a decade.

This is pretty much what is going to happen. But it's not a partisan thing. This kind of thing happens regardless of party. It's about money and power, not party. Much like most social issues are today but everyone has their heads so far up their butts they continue to hate on each other instead of actually going after the problem.

According to a 2002 profile in New York -- the one with the Trump quote -- Epstein dropped out of Cooper Union and NYU's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences before finding a job teaching calculus and physics at the Dalton School in the mid-1970s. Epstein was hired at the prestigious Manhattan college-prep institution by the father of Attorney General William Barr
