Guess all the "Trump is going to save coal" screamers will go to bed hungry and stressed out.

Cause they're unemployed.

Looks like Hillary was right, again.

Not exactly:

"In her new book, " What Happened" -- officially out next Tuesday -- Hillary Clinton wrote that her biggest regret from the campaign trail last year was saying she would put coal miners out of business.

CNN, which obtained a copy of the book this week, reported that the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee said that comment was the one "I regret the most."

#5 You're right. She should have never said it.

She should have lied to their faces like Fat Nixon and said she was going to Make Coal Great Again.

The Hilljacks love to be lied to. The truth hurts.

Hillary Clinton wrote that her biggest regret from the campaign trail last year was saying she would put coal miners out of business.

I do remember her saying coal was obsolete. That those jobs were also obsolete.

I don't remember her saying she would put coal miners out of business.

Just that she couldn't save them.

#8 Of course you don't remember, Foghat. You're dabbed out.

"Clinton made the remark during a town hall in Columbus, Ohio, in March 2016 when she touted her plan to replace fossil-fuel-based energy production with renewable systems.

"I'm the only candidate which has a policy about how to bring economic opportunity using clean renewable energy as the key into coal country," she said. "Because we're going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business."

To her credit, she immediately walked back the comment, but it was too late. Trump seized on it and it became the basis for his "we are going to make Coal great again" mantra.

Back on topic, this bankruptcy has been pending for quite a while (I think since mid-2016), what happened here is that the BK Judge denied a motion for $20M in interim financing, which caused the company to close these mines until they get $$.

Yeah, because this totally mitigates the corporate deregulation and gutting of the EPA.

GFY asshat.

So on a thread about a positive environmental development, fake "progressive" sheep4trump's approach is to insult people who care about the future.

So ZERO posts promoting anything PROGRESSIVE today sheep4trump or was it all just tribal defense of your cult leader?

No, I insult screamers and emotional basket cases, like you.

Like the former employees of those coal mines. I'm sure many of them do feel like screaming right now. Are Capitalists on the way to rescue them? To retrain them for other jobs. To bring them into the new Green Economy? No, probably not. Do you think the owners of those coal mines will miss any meals? No, probably not, even though they still owe the employees 5 million dollars.
For those people who are losing their livlihood I suggest they turn to Socialism, which virtually all of them will be force to do; unemployment benefits, Medicaid, Social Security Disability, etc. Why not just go full bore Socialism with government paid for retraining for Green jobs? The government would end up with tax payers instead of liabilities. FDR figured this out in 1933, can't quite understand how Republicans still haven't.

It's not a whine.

It's an accurate description of what the heap of schitt does every day here.

Yeah that's it. You insult "screamers" who want to save the planet. But not the "screamers" who put kids in cages, not the screamers who say the rich need tax cuts, not the screamers who say corporations have too many regulations, not the screamers who say abortion is baby murder. Only the progressive screamers are your enemy. Because you're so progressive.

I'm more interested in the dark money donors, superpacs, special interests, and other funny money that decides our elections.
Rail against me all you want JPW, but ultimately, my interests align with yours, whether you realize it or not.

Speaks, you're a trainwreck of simplistic narratives. devoid of solutions, because you can barely see past the media tropes.

Looks like they should have voted blue, then there would be a program to give them new training and jobs. Jobs that won't kill them at the age of 50.

If you're more interested in "the dark money donors, superpacs, special interests, and other funny money that decides our elections." then that's what you would be posting about all day every day. But it's not.

All day every day you post anti environmentalist, anti progressive, pro trump propaganda. So THATS what you're more interested in.
