Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, July 02, 2019

Members of a secret Facebook group for current and former Border Patrol agents joked about the deaths of migrants, discussed throwing burritos at Latino members of Congress visiting a detention facility in Texas on Monday and posted a vulgar illustration depicting Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez engaged in oral sex with a detained migrant, according to screenshots of their postings.

Undaunted by scorching desert heat or freezing northern winters, they work tirelessly as vigilant protectors of our Nation's borders."

Nope. Nothing about "don't mock children."

Being at a legal port of entry isn't even a requirement for asylum.

"Asylum seekers must be in the U.S. or at a port of entry (an airport or an official land crossing) to apply for, or request the opportunity to apply for, asylum." www.rescue.org

That being said, "the United States has been closing its borders to many asylum seekers for years by illegally turning away and restricting people seeking refuge at official land border crossings. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents have physically blocked access to ports of entry and refused to refer people seeking asylum to a protection screening interview or immigration court proceedings where they can request asylum." www.humanrightsfirst.org

Notice how some people can see how the Border Patrol agents are acting, and still proclaim our policies are humane, and the detainees are being well treated. And cast doubts on the claims themselves.

Next, I hope to hear the agents were just engaging in locker room talk, and blowing off steam, after a hard day of protecting us from terrorists.

Mocking the very same children in their custody is within these Border Patrol agents rights?

Also, they are making fun of at those children's expense - mocking their deaths as well. They have maybe more than 10,000 agents involved. This is systemic.

And look at since when they began this filth: Created in August 2016, the group is called "I'm 10-15" and boasts roughly 9,500 members. (10-15 is Border Patrol code for "aliens in custody.")

Can we just admit that the entire affair is a bigoted crapfest from the get-go?

#31 | POSTED BY FISHPAW AT 2019-07-02 12:26 PM

Actually, they were told to drink from the toilets if they were "that thirsty" by a guard who refused to bring them water. I'm not certain how many times this has happened, but it's still apparent there is serious hostility between the guards and the prisoners. Very unprofessional, and quite heartless many would object.
Apparently someone was again told that same mantra "drink from your toilet" on the day of this inspection. It seems that we're being lied to about the prison conditioning.

She does care, obviously, and has helped shed more light on this very murky dark issue. So, give her some credit there. And the other person Judy Chu is a congressperson. When you say "political gain" what is that? Who else says it that way around you? The only people I see playing any games are the Republicans and the Corporate Democrats, never Progressives like O'Cortez. This isn't language I ever use or listen to. There may be something inside of that messaging, bro. I can hear it's cadence and place it grammatically for best effect as well. With a nice buttery voice.. "Alexandriiiia O'Casio Bossa Nova Cortezzz, isn't just serving me my "democratically elected freedom-fried justice warrior" outrage, but a hot steaming pile of political gain." Something is telling you she is into "political gain" when the rest of us plainly see an elected official penetrating the veil.

Worthless, no way. Have you ever listened to anything she has to say? Or how she delivers it? This is a lucky break for America, bro. She is incredible and I am confident represents our interests because she is not corrupted by the system of "political gains".
