President Donald Trump kicked off his formal reelection campaign Tuesday night with a rally in Orlando. His 76-minute speech featured more than 15 false statements, many of them ones that he's repeated frequently in the past.

Not that most Americans believe Trump will tell the truth. Trump lies with impunity about his accomplishments and takes credit for things he had absolutely nothing to do with.

It's baffling how anyone could support the orange bag of lies.

It was the Russians again, right. Or was it his cat? I heard the guy was a pedo. Well, todd him into the media briar patch - he hates that.

The cancer cure thing is cool though.

When a critique of Trump manages to penetrate you, it shows.

It's like Imhotep. As long as they serve him, they believe they are immune.

SherpDerp doesn't want anyone to talk about Trump.

Come on guys, you all know it's pillow talk.

And the deplorables lap it up.

The first rule of Trump club is that you dont let ANYONE talk about Trump. Especially if they are going to quote him

15 seems way low.
The person counting the lies must have fallen asleep after the first minute of the speech.

Enough for a Greatest Hits album.

I read that his KKK rally was very popular with the White Nationalists, Fascists, racists, misgynists, and virtually every group of Deplorables in the oountry.

Oh, and I forgot, there was also a large contingent of Proud Boys. I also read that most of the citizens of Orlando can't stand Trump.

SheepShart - "Because defending Trump is soooooooo Bernie Sanders".

No one cares what the biggest phony on DR (semi)thinks.

I love the one he told about the wall being built--if that were true it would have MAGA stickers all over it and would be the scene of dozens of photo-ops, replete with the groping of flags and female ICE/CBP officers. Since so many Dotard supporters appear to be off work (how else would they hang around in a rainy field for a couple of days) why haven't these folks driven down to Trump's wall to write their names on it, along with kind words to their porcine leader? C'mon MAGA-heads--make the wall (if you can find it) look like the wall outside Graceland--only bigger...

I'm sure you've read about the hundreds of thousands of Puerto Ricans who've moved to Orlando, Miami, and Tampa. No fans of Trump. They can vote, but not for Trump ... even if they're given a truckload of paper towels.

Facts didn't matter last election, they won't matter this election.

Elections are about exciting people into voting for you.

Trump can stir up a crowd.

Bernie can stir up a crowd.

It's not about the people who vote party line. It's about exciting people who wouldn't go vote. They don't care about facts. They care about their immediate lives. If the candidate can't make voting for them more important than what John Q Public needs to do to survive, ie work, then they won't get that vote.

Obama made people care. Trump made people care. Reagan, Clinton, BushJr... they all got people's hopes up.

Whoever the Democratic candidate is. They're going to have to be the one who can pull the biggest audiences. Who can pull the most people to vote for them.

They weren't in FL in the numbers they are now back in 2016. As you may recall, Hurricane Maria hit in Sept 2017. After that, hundreds of thousands of Puerto Rican voters moved to Florida.

What's ironic is that if Trump had helped them with the same level of support shown for Houston and Florida in the aftermath of Harvey and Irma, he might have gotten some new supporters - who now vote in Florida, where it makes a difference. Instead, he mocked and ignored them. He probably didn't know they're U.S. citizens. Oh, and he was mad he didn't get to build a golf course down there.

"We will push onward with new medical frontiers. We will come up with the cures to many, many problems, to many, many diseases including cancer and others, and we're getting closer all the time."
