North Carolina Republican lawmakers on Monday asked a court to make sure the files of the now-deceased GOP strategist Tom Hofeller are destroyed, or at least kept secret, instead of being used in a high-profile gerrymandering lawsuit.

Yet more proof that the GOP knows it's not doing the will of the people and doesn't, by and large, have the support of the people.

They rule by tricks, lies and deception. That's all they have left as their ideas have been shown to be garbage.

"A key part of the lawmakers' argument is that Hofeller's daughter lacked legal permission to give anyone his files."

Sounds familiar:
"You had no right to discover my wrongs!"

Hofeller's estate and personal effects transferred upon his death to his heirs, in the absence of his written instructions otherwise. His estranged daughter is not the first to use inherited property in a manner other than what the decedant intended. Too bad. Don't like it? Have the good Doctor rise from the grave and reclaim his property.

Hell--I hope she publishes every word on the web. Sunlight continues to be the best disinfectant...

Is it any wonder that a man who specializes in gerrymandering for Republicans would be estranged from his daughter. She probably has the moral compass which her father lacked.

"Hofeller's files show that he told federal officials the question would dissuade minorities from replying to the census. He said it would help with redistricting after the Census that he said would give more political power to "Republicans and Non-Hispanic Whites."

Is the GOP trying to pretend they didn't know this all along?

Our secret Government. Isn't that what the GOP told us to fear? Another case of them having zero imagination, leading to them just telling us what evil they're doing.

Actually, Putin's P210 disinfects far quicker, taking only days rather than decades. We should order a vat for corrupt legislators.

Even with evidence of Trumps involvement with Alfa Bank he is still allowed to act as POTUS, so releasing documents does little to nothing if authority lacks fortitude. Wikileaks information wasn't important enough for the MIC to change methodologies.. but thank the LORD Obama was able to take down those whistleblowers!

So many spot on observations on this one...

You're asking if the Party who can't remember who George Bush is remembers if they tried to destroy the census for racial reasons?

Sum Ting Wong!

No deflections to Hillary from the Deplorables this time?

North Carolinian's got yer tongues?

I admit... it's tough to defend North Carolina's GOP attempts at massive vote fraud.
