When asked whether Palestinians deserve a sovereign state with a capital in East Jerusalem, as many of them demand, he said: "When I speak to the Palestinian people, what they want is the opportunity to live a better life, they want an opportunity to pay their mortgage."

The issue isn't Palestinian acceptance of a one-state solution, but rather Israeli acceptance of it. Which would necessitate some form of Apartheid. And that's the problem, because it's somewhat incompatible with the idea of Israel as a secular, democratic state. Even as Palestinians might rather live under Apartheid than the alternatives...

For there to be a unified Israel, the Palestinians will have to be moved somewhere else.

Maybe after the war with Iran, a portion of their nation can be split to create New Palestine.

Why? Do you believe Israel to be a homogeneous population?

Liar ... 66% of the population supports a two-state solution. The opposition is the left wing and the right wing extremist such as yourself.

I am on record that one state solution is the only way out of this mess.

The Israeli government will be transformed ,from democratic state, to a Republic, not by population but by the three major religions, this has been proposed.....

One state solution does not work because of demographics. The productive Jews in Israel are moderately religious and have small families. Meanwhile the Palestinians and Observant Jews have massive, non-productive families. You can't have that many non-productive people in a country and survive. The productive people will leave when taxes increase to support the growing welfare state. I don't think the US will cough up more money so it results in a failed state.
