President Trump went after Comcast and various news networks late Saturday, accusing the media companies of reporting "lies" and claiming Comcast of showing "hatred."

Pres Trump seems to have a problem understanding that news he does not want to hear is not "fake" or "incorrect."

Pres Trump wants only to hear the accolades.

Remember that public meeting he held in the White House with his aides a couple years or so ago, and he made all of them go around the table and say how great it was to work for him?

I remember there were a couple who said they were honored to work for the Constitution (I paraphrase). I have to wonder if Pres Trump thought they were saying "fake news" because they did not say what he wanted them to say.

Pres Trump is an embarrassment to truth.

Forget what ANYONE else has said about Trump. if alI I knew about Trump -- ALL I knew -- were his own words, spoken and tweets, I would want nothing to do with that guy. Zero. Nothing whatever. The fact that his base doesn't see this tells me nothing more about him, but everything about his base.

Trump complains about fake news??

Everyday.

The entire world is wrong. They're all out to get him. He's a victim.

And people like Sherp believe him.

Trump successfully spread birtherism.

Now he's spreading misinformation about the media.

The guy churns out the conspiracies and deplorables cling to it.

@3 Don't forget Trump's concerted effort to delegitimize science (which is sticking like --- on carpet).

Pres Trump has questioned whether the license of a news channel should be revoked because he does not like what is broadcast.

Has not Pres Trump read our Constitution?

This! 100% this. We all know who and what the Orange Turd is. Nothing should surprise or shock us anymore. What is truly disturbing is the fact his support doesn't seem to change - no matter what he does or says. We live in a country run by the FoxNews/Hate Radio World scum now. That's a very powerful forcefield of Hate/Evil/Stupid/Ignorance - can it be broken through?

What i find really interesting about Pres Trump's recent comments about the NYTimes is that Pres Trump is really on the wrong side of the issue.

One of the things that I have seen when I read the Mueller report (I printed it out and read it, did you?) is that the "anonymous sources" that the NYTimes (and Washington Post, for that matter) have been largely correct.

The areas where the Mueller report documented the events (with hard evidence), the reporting of the NYTimes has been largely shown to be correct.

This furthers (strange, but appropriate, verb) my view that the NYTimes tends to get things more correct than incorrect when documenting the reporting of anonymous sources. I've also noted that those who want to downplay said reporting seem to want to do so more for a political opinion than any foundation of what actually occurred.

LAMPLIGHTER @ #5

"Has not Pres Trump read our Constitution?"

Bite your tongue! He's already floated a trial balloon about replacing the Constitution with a document more suited to someone like himself. Trump and his deplorables believe that the current document was written back in the days of antiquity by a bunch of old fools who didn't have the foresight to anticipate the arrival of a stable genius to run the country.

You won't find that on the GOP platform for 2020 but it's a safe bet the propaganda script has already been written and circulated among the advance team at MAGA headquarters.

"Has not Pres Trump read our Constitution?"

Is that really a question? Of course he hasn't. He doesn't read anything.

"Donald Trump has a measured thoughtful process that he adheres to when considering profound issues that impact not only our own country but perhaps even world conditions writ large. He developed this skill set while working under the tutelage of his late father, a well known entrepreneur and philanthropist in his own right, but who has been eclipsed by the generosity of his son. President Trump recognizes his role on the world stage and as we've all seen is more than up to the task(s) at hand"

You know I was thinking... dangerous I know.... but if Humpy don't like all the "fake news" then, I know this is so cray cray, but TURN OFF THE DAMN TV.

Also.

Shutting the hell up will help reduce the amount of fake news by a factor of about 10,000.

What the Deuce?
You make an assertion with absolutely ZERO evidence. In polite circles that is known as "making stuff up."
Then you take the first clause of making stuff up, then jump to an illogical and incorrect assertion.

And you get a few "newsworthy" votes now and then? By whom? Surely you don't have three or four fake accounts.
Pathetic.

On a scale of 1-10 where 10 is the most fake and 1 is the most scientific:

Russia 9; USA 7; North Korea, FOX and Trump 10; Sweden 4; England 5.....
