Eliminating cheap labor will immediately increases prices for everything.
And while you may not personally care, because you're well off enough to be able to afford the increased costs. The majority of Americans will be hit hard. Consumerism will decrease as people won't have as much expendable money. Our economy will suffer.
Either that or we, the taxpayers, will need to supplement wages for farm workers through increased taxes.
Either way, republicans are petty and shortsighted.

You made a great case for the continuation of slave wages for the underclass.
I bet you can make an equally compelling case for $15/hr min wage for the non-slaves.
Me? I'm intersted in all workers, their wages, medical, safety. work=place projections, proper taxation etc, etc.
You just want cheap milk. veggies and sausages.
