This is Survivor: Nomination. They'll start teaming up and conspiring to take down frontrunners soon.

Worst candidate of the bunch...

He's the only one of the bunch I'd vote for.

Trump landslide.

Obama will stump for Biden and make his numbers untouchable. I will be shocked if Trump gets 35% of the vote.

Never forget, whoever wins the middle (the moderates) wins the election. No way the moderates are voting for Cheetolini again.

The best of the bunch needs to be defined as whomever is most likely to defeat trump.

That is going to be who can get the moderates in the swing states.

That's the criteria. It's exactly that simple.

#7-8

Which is exactly why Biden is the best choice to beat Trump, although Buttigeig would also appeal to moderates in the swing States. Harris might have some appeal, but Sanders and Warren would have a hard time moving to the middle.

I would agree with you BUT if the Democrats put a hard left neo-socialist in there, it'll be 2016 again. Iur two-party monopoly has created a voting public where 20% of voters get 90% of the media coverage. The candidate who doesn't scare away the middle 80% wins in 2020, and Democrats are trying hard to f@×k this away with their race to the left.

They'd gay bash the hell out of him.

I don't think so, there will be those who are in Trump's base that would, but they are not going to vote for him anyway and I think that will draw sympathy from many moderate voters in the swing states.

My top three would be Bernie, Warren, Buttigieg

But some people are scared of Bernie turning America into Venezuela.

Some people feel like Warren is also too far left with her policies. Plus people will still get triggered by her Native American claim.

And Buttigieg is gay. Which will be used viciously against him. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe America is a lot more progressive than I'm giving it credit for. Maybe the Electorate will elect a person based on who they are and not what they are. Maybe.

I like your optimism and I hope you're correct.

He's young and intelligent and served in the military. He's also a moderate, which seems to be a plus for many. He would be a good choice.

I'm telling you, 5-7 of the progressives should form a Potus/VP/cabinet for the primaries and beat Joe.

A Dem dream team would beat Trump. Joe isn't going to do it.

#13 I don't think him being gay is a showstopper, especially to moderates. He hurt himself when he lurched left to appeal to hard-line leftists, but if he stays more moderate, he's very appealing to the middle.

How dare anyone try to represent us?!

Either way. He's clearly a moderate, any "lurch" you're perceiving, and getting triggered by, is in order to win some primary support.

That's all they've got? Sad.

It would have been optimism 20 years ago, now I just think it is realistic, having spent enough time in Florida, Pennsylvania and the upper Midwest over the past 5 years or so.

If Mayor Pete keeps to the middle and resists the siren call of the Far Left, he has a good chance of siphoning support from Biden while the rest fight over your vote.

-No way the moderates are voting for Cheetolini again.

it's not that many moderates we are really talking about. Moderates in FL, NC, OH, MI, PA, and WI are more than you need.

Since Trump has his party's nomination in the bag, I'll probably vote for a spoiler candidate in the Democrat primary. Problem is that they all look like losers. Hard to determine the worst candidate in a rotten bunch like this.

Hard to determine the worst candidate in a rotten bunch like this.

There are still possibilities not yet considered, such as last election's hero, Chardanillary. It might be that this time is when the magic happens. Corky has been rubbing some lamp or some one/thing to influence the fickle election gods.
