The video opens with the 21-year-old sociology student facing the camera. His voice quivers as he recounts his interrogation -- his humiliation -- for days at the hands of Beijing police.

Isn't socialism wonderful?

This is why we can NEVER trust China and shouldn't be buying anywhere near as much from them.

It is a totalitarian state and with every purchase we feed the dragon.

China is a Communist country. Genius comment.

What is wrong with China isn't socialism. It is an authoritarian dictatorial government that does not respect the rule of law, human rights, international treaties or private property rights.

Trump wants to make the US more like China.

China is not a socialist country. It's a communist country.

You know that.

DOCNJO:
Why post here when you obviously don't know what you are doing?
China is now a hybrid of totalitarian/communist/capitalism.

More to the point:
Trump should not be doing these silly tariffs that hurt us as much as China. Instead, Trump should be ostracizing them completely, as they are moving more and more back to Mao-era intimidation and "re-education" techniques. When one considers that he unilaterally changed the Constitution to make himself Dictator-for-Life, China's already-dismal human rights record is taking a huge step backwards.

Note, everybody! WHO are the men trump openly gushes over? Duterte, Kim Un Jong, and Xi Jin Ping. What does that tell you about his moral, ethical, and leadership compass?

Kinda like what America's Red Guards, the SJWs, are doing.

"Get Ready for the Struggle Session

In America, and even more so on Twitter, there's a whiff of China's Cultural Revolution in the air.

Does that mean Nixon will open trade with Twitter soon?

From Nulli's link:

"The air is full of accusation and humiliation. We have seen this spirit most famously on the campuses, where students protest harshly, sometimes violently, views they wish to suppress. Social media is full of swarming political and ideological mobs. In an interesting departure from democratic tradition, they don't try to win the other side over. They only condemn and attempt to silence.

The spirit of the struggle session is all over Twitter . On literary Twitter social-justice warriors get advance copies of new books and denounce them for deviationism -- as insensitive, racist, appropriative, anti-LGBTQ. Books on the eve of publication have been pulled, sometimes withdrawn by authors who apologize profusely. Everyone's scared. And the tormentors are not satisfied by an apology. They're excited by it and prowl for more prey."

Good read. It certainly applies here.

Goofball, China is COMMUNIST with an authoritarian cabal. Don't you know anything about their human rights abuses? Do you ever see that in truly Socialist nations? So stop with the stupid.:]

"Communism is the goal of the Socialist road", Mao. BTW, for those who hopefully point to Nordic countries- They do not consider themselves Socialist at all. Especially Sweden and Denmark.

The Chinese can say whatever they want to. Democratic socialism is definitely NOT what they practice, but it is what many industrialized countries do.

China is communist.

You guys on the right are always trying to put communism and socialism in the same basket. Help yourself. Doesn't make it true. All you're doing is using a tired old tactic to try to equate the two.

If he wasn't such a well known moron I would be concerned that idiotic thinking like that would become normal but it won't. Average Americans laugh at stupidity like that. Nulli should read a book about the Cultural Revolution in China before he says stupid crap like that.

That's hilarious. I was reading the works of Mao Tse-Tung when you were probably reading cheap romance novels.

Actually, china has embraced capitalism in a big way. That is why they are kicking our butts.

They still have the old communist party system, but there is not that much difference between Communism and american-style capitalism anyway.

And let's not forget that we've fought the chinese twice (korea and vietnam) and lost both times.

That is why i am so mystified that you would embrace fascism here at home.

#19 | Posted by kudzu, You might remember Fascism was begun by the most prominent Socialist in Italy. Hitler changed the German worker's party's name to the National Socialist German Workers Party.
